Honestly cannot fault the above and beyond service given by Sarah, Daniel and team. I had my house on the market with another estate agent for 6+ months with no success. Eventually the relationship and line of communication totally broke down. Gasgoine-Pees are like estate agents on steroids (in a good way) My house needed modernising and renovating so was labour of love and not the prettiest. The team took the challenge of marketing my house, found me a super keen buyer and today we exchanged. Sarah you are marvellous, you went above and beyond dealing with my meltdowns and inability to print 😄 you chased and chased the buyers solicitors and kept us updated at every step. Thank you. I have no hesitation at all recommending the guys in the Redhill branch. If you want it done, they are the guys.

Superb, absolutely superb. After a bad experience with one of these new-fangled "agents" (Purple Bricks - avoid like the plague!!) Sarah and her team in Redhill showed the new pretenders how it's done. We had proper, thorough discussions both pre-valuation and post, with a full understanding of the house, the marketplace and how best to position it. We even had viewings booked before we had approved the advert - again the is the mark of a real estate agent who has a database of clients and can work a real consultative sell with them. In comparison, Purple Bricks et al wouldn't begin to dream of (or be able to) offer anything like an active trawl of their database, they rely entirely on online hits. Once the viewings occurred Sarah kept us up to date with feedback - even if there wasn't any she was easy to get hold of and always proactive in contacting us to tell us so. Within 3 weeks we had an offer which we accepted and the service didn't suddenly stop, it continued until we had the money in our bank. Sarah is superb at keeping solicitors moving, at pushing mortgage companies to pull their finger put when they're being slow, and at consulting with buyers when they start asking strange questions. She is patient with everyone and keeps her team well apprised of the status at all times, in case she's not available they will be fully prepared to offer an update. All in all I wouldn't use anyone else, and I certainly wouldn't touch the new kids on the block, they have no idea how far behind they are in comparison.

Mann took the sale of my property over after it had been languishing on the market for some months. They worked with me to get it moving - and although the first buyer fell through, within two days I had a new one. Amy in particular was unremittingly responsive, friendly and helpful - it was always a pleasure to get messages from her and know that she had things in hand. The whole team was helpful and good to work with, I would definitely recommend Mann over the other local agents I tried previously.

I find it almost laughable how this…

I find it almost laughable how this letting agency behaves. When you’re signing a contract, they bend over backwards to act friendly and helpful, but the second you’re moving out, the entire façade collapses. Their true colors show, and suddenly you’re dealing with rudeness, attitude, and a complete lack of basic professionalism. My experience with this agency at the end of my tenancy was extremely negative, and one staff member in particular, Freya, made the situation even worse. In my opinion, she spoke to me with absolutely no respect and seemed to think that talking to tenants in a dismissive, condescending manner was acceptable. From my interaction with her, it’s clear she has a lot to learn about how to communicate professionally. Some of the comments she made were completely unnecessary, and honestly, she would benefit from learning when it’s better to keep certain remarks to herself rather than speaking to people the way she did. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, and I strongly believe she needs proper customer service training. My overall impression is that she is not equipped to speak with tenants in a respectful or professional way, and that absolutely needs to be addressed. No member of staff has the right to speak to me the way she did. Because of this, I will be taking this complaint further through the appropriate channels, and I will be sharing my experience publicly so other tenants are aware of how they may be treated. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I refuse to let it go unaddressed.

Scammed by branch in Basingstoke, avoid them

These agents in Basingstoke pressured me into making a holding deposit after seeing a property that I was interested in. I provided all the details for reference checks. They later came back telling me that my employers declined giving a reference until my probation is ended which is no fault of mine. I have contacted my employers personally on more than one occasion to get this sorted out, but was not successful. This agency contacted me requesting for a guarantor and as a foreigner, I could not provide the needed guarantor (UK home owner with £44k annual salary). The next few hours, the property was back on the market without saying anything to me about my holding deposit. When I contacted them, they told me I have provided false and misleading information (failed reference checks) which was very shocking to me. Avoid them at all cost.

Quite simply, if ALL estate agents were like Sarah, they wouldn't ever have a bad rep. Sarah was professional, focussed, helpful, firm, fun and kept our move on track. She was honest - unlike some very closely situated competitors - and explained all aspects of how we could keep progress going. She managed a lot of different expectations and was forever up and down the chain monitoring. I hated moving, BUT if i ever move again I will use Sarah without a doubt, above any others! Over the course of 2 .5 years our chain broke 3 times leading to the loss the house we intended to purchase. This was an incredibly stressful process during which I cannot speak highly enough of Mann and in particular Sarah. Sarah at Mann in Redhill was so helpful with our mortgage advice. initially she gave us support in considering our best options and then transferred us to her mortgage adviser who was brilliant throughout the rest of the process. Both Sarah and her adviser liaised with us through every aspect of deciding which mortgage was right for our needs. They were friendly and professional which gave us great confidence. The entire process was unbelievably easy and we are so happy with the mortgage rate and deal we received.
