The whole team was very helpful and responsive, and the branch manager Sarah in particular was brilliant - providing expert advice on when to bring the property to market, how to position it, keeping us fully informed of the status of possible offers and always willing to go the extra mile to help us (a detail that we really appreciated as we're living abroad). It really gave us confidence and trust in the Gascoigne-Pees team that we knew Sarah from when we originally purchased the property, and her expertise, about both the area and the market, was absolutely invaluable.

Sarah and her team have been truly excellent throughout the process of selling our property. It did not matter who we spoke to they all knew the latest updates. Sarah was in constant contact, even when she was not meant to be working and gave us honest straightforward information. There was no pressure put on us or hurried decision making, she simply told us how it was. Unlike the solicitors, she was in constant contact with the rest of the chain and often got updates a lot quicker than the solicitors managed. If I was sell again I would definitely use this company, if the Redhill branch is anything to go by.

I can’t thank Dharmesh Bhatt enough for the outstanding service he provided! From our very first conversation, I felt at ease with the way he explained about the mortagage deals and property market. He answered my calls and emails irrespective of his working hours. He made sure that I am not worried , intimidated or concerned as it was my first property purchase.He just didnot get me a mortgage , He travelled with us in our mortagage journey and property purchase and guided us in each and every step we took. The process of getting a mortgage can be overwhelming, but Dharmesh made it so much easier, and even took the time to follow up personally to ensure I was informed and aware of everything. From Day 1 he chased and managed everything on my behalf. I never felt rushed or pressured. Being a mortagage broker , his work is to get us a mortagage but he helped with the property's market value-how much to offer for that property-is it worth to invest in that property and all. Incredible Staff!

Myself and my partner are first time buyers looking for our first property. This is been such an exciting process, and the lovely Mia from Redhill's Gascoigne-Pees has made it even more wonderful. From the moment I first called in to book viewings, her sparkling friendly personality has shone through and she shared in our excitement to be looking for our dream home. Obviously it is quite a big decision and a large commitment, so we are so appreciative of the time Mia took to get to know what we wanted, what we were avoiding and what about the properties we picked that made us choose them. That meant that she was able to suggest some others that we hadn't come across, in the same area, for the same price range and with the same general feel as the others. This meant that our top 3 properties are now all ones held with GP! This has been great, since we know that whatever property we end up going with, we're going to have Mia's fantastic support behind us. I am so impressed by her ability to show off the best bits of the properties whilst explaining things so clearly. I truly trust that she has our best interests in mind and is just as psyched to look for our first property as we are! Maidenhead branch: Weirdest state agent interaction I’ve ever had

Was already feeling an odd vibe from the agents - they sounded annoyed or something. Put an offer in a house less than 6% off the original price. They told me the owners didn’t accept it - fair enough. Called them and asked for a second viewing to potentially offer more. They booked me in for the following week. One day after that, the agents call me to cancel the viewing because “the owner didn’t want us in his house again” because our offer was “too low” and “it threw them off”. Even if the owner genuinely felt that way, the agent could simply have said the seller had decided not to proceed with further viewings. Telling me that our offer “threw them off” and that the owner “didn’t want us in his house again” is unnecessarily blunt and, frankly, rather unprofessional. I’ve never seen anything like this is my life before. Feels like we dodged a bullet though. If they treated us like this at this point, I can only imagine the sort of troubles we would have if we actually did business with them.

Harassment, Alarm & Distress Caused - Spamming Cowboys

I went through Get Agent which was my first big mistake… they gave my details to Gascoigne Pees who called me within minutes. I explained that I wasn’t looking at a valuation or selling my house for at least 3-6 months and to ‘stand down’… I’ve been called every day or every other day since, and when I don’t answer the phone, they don’t leave a message and when you call back it doesn’t go through to the branch only to the head office. I asked my details to be removed from their system but I’ve still had daily calls from them, even when on the phone to their head office to make a complaint, I was called again by their branch. I have since had 4 spam calls from other estate agents with details sent to GetAgent with my phone number and a fake email address that Get Agent are tracing using the IP address from the fake email due to a breaking of GDPR rules. Yet to be proven but seems a coincidence that after having an argument with someone at Gascoigne Pees about harassment and spam calls from them, that my details have been sent out to estate agents in Coventry, Stoke-On-Trent, Nottingham and Leeds… Would never sell my house through GP and trust them with any personal details..

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon on a whim, after browsing available properties in their window. While we are not looking to move any time soon, I wanted to get a ball park figure of what my current property is worth, in order to plan our future residential move. Warmly welcomed by Molly, who introduced me to Sarah (branch manager). Sarah was exceedingly kind and spent a good half hour with me, going through the current market conditions and talking through various options available. In addition, she showed me properties both on their books and their competitions'! All to help me see what my next move could look like. I was not made to feel like I was wasting their time, in fact Molly made me a cup of tea. Great patient service from Sarah and her team. There was quite a gap between asking initial advice and actually being ready to go to market, but Sarah just stayed in touch and supported us all without pressure. If evening contact was essential she dealt with it. There was thorough checking of our chain which meant we were confident once moving forward that everyone was in a solid position to proceed. There are cheaper flat rate agents out there but they don’t liaise with other agents in the chain and your solicitor. Glad we opted for the service which was there right up until we got our new keys!

Gascoigne Pees have been amazing through our first buying process in Redhill. Sarah was so professional and driven to get our sale through our very harsh deadline. Loved her famous line " 'Can't' is just not in my dictionary. I will do as much as I can to get this through" Janene was also a star making sure each process was done on time. Jessica was a lovely sales Negotiator making sure we had our questions answered within minutes. And Jay for kindly letting us receive our keys even though it was past closing time.
