Dave was so helpful and amazing. I had an unexpected death in my family and had to back out of my letting agreement. Devastated I needed the money I had set for my new home to get back to Canada for the wake. Dave took care of it and got me my full refund promptly and offered to help me find a new home when I get back. I am ever so thankful to his kindness and understanding and help in this dark and stressful time for me.

I have just got my first mortgage through House and Co thanks to Jim (James Thomas). I was extremely daunted by the whole process as I was a first time, single buyer, however Jim took care of everything for me. He spent time explaining the process and helping me decide what was the best option for me. He kept me informed on a regular basis of what was happening, and I felt I could ask even the most basic questions without feeling as though I was time wasting or looking stupid!!! Jim couldn't have been more helpful, reassuring and friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending both him and the company to anyone else in my position looking for a great service. I would also add that all the staff I have spoken to along the way have all been helpful and I've never left a message which wasn't promptly returned. Big thanks to all involved.

The team at House and Co Mortgage are very good at what they do! As first time buyers we were overwhelmed with the wealth of information out there advising us to do this or not do that but Jim and his team were fab and cut out the nonsense and explained everything very clearly to us. We had a tricky time with our purchasing, having to pull out of two properties for various reasons, but the team found us a good mortgage deal for all three of the properties we had offers accepted on :) Jim put extra time in to get our application in before the interest rate was due to go up and the team are very hands on with regular phone calls and emails updating us of what was happening and when. I would definitely recommend House and Co to find a mortgage for you :)

So far, I've had a really good experience with House and Co. I've been dealing with Dave House, who has been very supportive about my concerns regarding employing an agent, following poor experiences in the past. I have found the rate of response to queries has been excellent, and the flexibility he and his team have been able to provide regarding some unusual conditions on the let has also been super. Dave has been super quick at organising contractors to come in and do necessary testing, which has resulted in extra work being needed. This has all been handled with clear explanations and minimum fuss. The tenants moved in over the weekend, and whilst there are a couple of teething problems outside of House & Co's responsibility, I know I can rely on their advice and support to come up with the best solution for both the tenants and myself. So far so good!
