This estate agency is simply the best and better than the very big agencies by far.They are everything one expects and hopes for in terms of knowledge,experience,reliability etc BUT they are old fashioned in their approach in that they never are forget they are dealing with human beings. (At a very stressful time) Jon and Ria have been wonderful and I first used House and Co 18 years ago when I bought.I liked them then and used them again.Jon has gone out of his way and far beyond the call of duty in helping me in various ways when we hit snags during the process of selling.(paper work problems) They do not let one down and are very good,p problem solvers. I am a professional and their approach has been of an impressive standard and nothing has been too much. Do not waste your time with another agency.

Honestly impressed. They found me tenants in less than a week and have managed to expedite doing necessary work to the house to make it ready for occupancy in a very short time. They also managed all of the paperwork and kept me fully in the loop. It's early days, but so far very good - and their rate is good at 10% including VAT. By the way I have previously let a property through another agent in another city so I have some basis for comparison.

I actually walked in to House and Co as it was conveniently close to my friends house however I am SO glad I did. James (Jim) took his time to talk through my options and to cover any unfamiliar jargon which was really useful for me as a single first time buyer. I was amazed to discover how much I could borrow. Although I was slightly apprehensive at first however Jim gave me a lot of confidence and was able to get me the full amount from my mortgage lender. Unfortunately my first house fell through due to problems in the chain. However due to Jims previous help, I had no doubt in picking up the phone to him to ask for his expert advice once I found a second property. Great help, very persistent and a super friendly team who make house buying less stressful. I would highly recommend.

Great Service - no hassle. I have 3 properties managed by House & Co since 2007. The properties are always occupied with happy tenants who look after the property well. Any repairs needed are identified and quickly sorted out through their own local contractors which I find to be good value for money and very responsive. I get regular reports supported by photos so that I can be assured that the property is in good condition and they ensure that I comply with all relevant landlord legislation House & Co take the strain out of being a landlord - particularly as I don't live in the area. Highly recommend.

James has helped us through the full mortgage prices from start to finish keeping in regular contact and offering as many meetings as we needed to go through initial quotes and again to complete applications. As first time buyers the whole process was new to us no matter how much research you undertake and James has answered anything we needed to know and liaised with the relevant parties to ensure everything went smoothly! We had Nick advising us with mortgage application and insurance, and he supported us in every steps that could have been hard to deal with by ourselves as first time buyers. Nick also competently handled our complicated case and was always nice to chat with. His assistant was very efficient in processing our mortgage application and communicating with estate agent and our solicitor. We've had a few maintenance issues arise with the house as we've gone along (leaking taps etc.), but the friendly team have always helped to get things sorted for the tenants as soon as possible. We have been using House & Co as letting agents for over 10 years. I would never look elsewhere, they provide a first class service and sort everything for us from finding and vetting tenants, arranging the tenancy agreements to collecting rent promptly and passing it on each month with a detailed statement. And when there are any issues with the property they are able to use their extensive network of contractors to arrange quick repairs at reasonable prices. I would thoroughly recommend them!

We were recommended House + Co by a work colleague who had just recently bought their first home. As first time buyers ourselves we weren't sure what to expect. We contacted Jim who was able to meet with us the following day and was very helpful and friendly. He let us know that he was able to get us a mortgage in principal there and then if it was needed, or we could let him know once we had found somewhere and have it sorted within the hour. Once we had found somewhere we then met with Darren who showed the same level of enthusiasm and knowledge as Jim so we were always confident we were in capable hands. Everything that we could have possibly needed to have explained to us was (even the stupid questions) and we felt comfortable and in control. We are now due to sign the contract for our first house! I would highly recommend their services. It's comforting to know that if we were to ever remortgage or move to another house that they will be able to assist us; even if this purchase was to fall through.
