GoogleWe bought our first home through House + Co and had no idea what to expect/what we were doing. They were great at guiding us through it all, and I felt they were a lot more honest and reliable than the other estate agents we dealt with initially. They also answer their emails... a big plus in this process! Would definitely use again.

GoogleHouse & Co have been great with the sale of my property in Greenbank. They achieved a price significantly over asking within a week of having the home on the market. Having said this the really impressive thing about their service was the support throughout the conveyancing process, a stressful time, but Ria Milburn who over saw the process internally was fantastic!! Ria's communication was brilliant and was able to offer guidance and support throughout the process.

GoogleWe recently sold our house with House + Co. They were brilliant to deal with from the beginning to the end of the process. Claire who did the valuation and viewings was just great - calm, professional, considerate, responsive and generally lovely to work with. Jess who dealt with the sales progression was so reliably and always on top of everything making sure everything kept moving at the we were all in the loop. Highly recommend them!

GoogleExcellent service from Victoria @ House + Co. Pro-active, quick to respond, and very instructive advice. And moreover, friendly and supportive. Re-mortgaging feels like it should have been more of a hassle, but owing to Victoria's expertise and proficiency, the whole process has been seamless. If you're looking to re-mortgage, forget pricey brokers, and get in touch with Victoria at House & Co. We'll certainly be engaging their services in the future.

GoogleOur purchase took a long time, but I believe this was due to delays on the side of the council, rather than the agent or solicitors per se. H&C were friendly and got back to us fairly quickly when we made enquiries, in fact they were more responsive than our solicitors, so between us we handled most of the communications...

GoogleI can't recommend H+C Mortgage enough! We were concerned about remortgaging but Victoria and Darren gave fantastic advice and options for us to consider. They took away all the hassle and made the process extremely clear and simple. GoogleCompletely blown away by everyone who helped me secure my mortgage at House + Co. It wasn't a straight forward case but Darren and Victoria and their colleagues did absolutely everything they could to support my application whilst providing sound advice and reassurance. Through what was an inevitably stressful time, I felt no doubt that I was in good hands every step of the way. We emerged from the process with a great offer and was able to secure my dream flat in the place that I have come to regard as home - I started the process believing that I would have to move away so being able to secure the mortgage for it really has impacted my whole life as I know it. I massively appreciate the skills, expertise, patience and kindness of everyone who helped me and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else if / when I need similar services in the future. GoogleWhat a great team! We were a little skeptical at first about using the mortgage arm of the housing agent but decided to give it a go. From the get go, the team dove deep to understand more about our personal situation and left no stone unturned to help us secure a competitive mortgage rate. Throughout the whole process, we were kept up to date on all activities and no question we asked was considered too stupid. We spoke with other mortgage brokers who seemed much more uninterested in working with us and too busy to give us the same care as House + Co Mortgage. The team is friendly and professional and made the somewhat stressful process seem a breeze.

Being a first time buyer I was hugely appreciative of Victoria’s support and clear explanation with her in-depth knowledge every step of the way. GoogleIt seemed they used our position as cash buyers to push up the other offers, they kept promising an answer to our offer, that was postponed again and again. I wouldn't ever make an offer on a house they were selling again. It didn't seem to be a transparent process.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our company. I have looked into the circumstances relating to your offer on one of our properties today. Firstly, I would like to make it clear that being a cash buyer does not give you any preferential treatment when making an offer via this company. All offers are put in writing and passed on to our vendor for their consideration. Nor would we use a cash offer to somehow drive up the price of any property we are marketing. Driving the price of a property up, only for it to be down-valued by a surveyor some weeks later, is counter-intuitive and a complete waste of time for all parties involved, us included. Looking at our system you made an offer on said property, along with a number of other potential buyers. You were then given the opportunity to come back to us with your best and final offer, which you duly did. Every other party at that stage came back to us with a higher offer than yours. The sale was then finalised several days later, which is absolutely standard practice in this market. I am sorry you feel that the process we use is not transparent, but the only way it could be more transparent would be for us to tell you what everyone else has offered. This is against the law and therefore not possible. We have removed your details from our system and wish you the best of luck in your search for a new home. Regards - House + Co Property
