Absolutely awful. Trying to chase an online viewing request for a letting is like getting blood out of stone. After a answer phone menu you get redirected 3 times. If you lucky enough to be eventually connected you will most likely speak to a very polite and friendly person who will tell you someone will contact you ASAP. It never happens. Thing is I have a suspicion the property is not available anymore!!

I researched the On the Market website & listed a number of properties via the reference numbers listed against each property.I then contacted On the Market by phone which was answered by a bored disinterested young woman.To each enquiry reference number she replied "we do not a property listed to that number" after the sixth such reply I asked why they were listed on the website, her answer "we are just a broker & listings take several days to appear on our data base" clearly the default position of this apology of a company.Total waste of time & effort.

OnTheMarket is a property portal where estate agents and new homes developers can list their properties for sale and to rent. Each of the listings on our site has a unique ID assigned to them however the agent may not be able to identify the listing in their database via this number depending on their set up. It sounds as though you have contacted the agent whose listings you've seen on our website and not had such a great experience. We are not an estate agency. Any listing sent to us by an agent appears instantly on site, there is no delay. Called in asking for a room availability and there's this one lady who sound tired and doesn't like her job said someone has took it. I thought that she's unreliable so I called in the next day asking the same question. Then, there's this another lady who sound patient and nice said the room is available and she took down my number and said that she’ll send me the documents. The next day, I did not receive anything so I called again just to make sure. Its the same lady from the first day I called in and I told her about what the nice lady told me yesterday. She said "no one will say such thing" and proceed to say the room is not available, with her tiring voice. Don't even know if the room is actually available or not. lol

This website is appalling; the parameters you set are reversed almost immediately. If you are lucky enough to start the search you were hoping for, when you try to go back to the listings after looking at a property, the parameters are deleted. Then there are constant requests to sign up to something, which are almost impossible to refuse, no matter how many times you click the little 'x' in the corner. When you finally get rid of the box you find you have gone back to square one, yet again, with all your parameters deleted. This site is a complete mess.

Im trying to buy a new house but they only have a small number for sale in my area and these are all the same as I have already seen on Rightmove.If only they had some actual different propertys for sale it would mean that they is worth using.I'll try again next week to see if they have added any more but if not Im not going to use them agian.

Untrustworthy. I requested no marketing yet have had 4 dodgy money grabbing emails from other companies within an hour of filling in valuation form. Clearly shared my details. I regret filling in the form and am just glad I gave a fake phone number. Avoid!

The worst customer service I have ever seen, I called to check on a shop and one lady doesn’t even know how to talk just said no more shops Available and hung up the phone, on the website there were many shops available but she wasn’t helpful at all.

Disgusted with this organisation! In response to my agreeing to an instant valuation (no strings attached, thought I), I entered all the information, after which I was given a 'greyed out' valuation and in order to get off the page I had to agree to 'OK' which then advised me that agents would be in contact with me regarding a vaulation of my property!! How dare you guys take my information and then decide to use it to suit yourselves!! This was a genuine query from myself, replying to an instant valuation with no strings attached. I had selected the 'I'm Just Interested' button, but you guys have chosen to bypass that and use my information to pass on to Estate Agents who have been calling me within an hour of this!! This is, in short, an illegal practice and needs to be investigated asap!! Decent people need to know this!!!!!!!!!!!! And now you have my personal information but I'll tell you this .......if I start getting all manner of adverts, invites and estate agent messages, you will be responsible and I WILL call you out, promise. xxx

We were very happy to use on the market, as the website is easy to use, the houses and their agents are listed, so you can receive immediate contact info to phone in. We found the market quite tough to get in & having them as a platform to assist in searching for a rental property, instead of trolling through each Agency's website certainly made the search and choices so much easier. Caravans and mobile homes ARE NOT PROPERTYEither create a filter to remove or stop allowing your customers advertising them as PROPERTY. You are breaking the law. Also create a FILTER FOE AUCTION PROPERTIES, so sick of having to click into dozens of these so called For Sale and they are AUCTIONHave filters to remove auction properties.. Your site is very 20th century..you are aware its 2022. you have the technology....you just cant be arsed......

On the market are absolutely useless at updating sites. Myself and partner have messaged at least 17 places and and have been informed each time they have been sold a week or more before our contact. This portal lets agents delete properties then re-list as new without notifying users. A local estate agent did exactly this yesterday re- listing around 8 properties as new. As it can be manipulated, I would not trust.

Grossely annoying. Stipulate in the search I am looking for 'DETACHED' house and get lists of terraced and semi detached. And yes, I did use the filters button! Waste of people's time onthemarket! If you want to get people to use your site then sort this out. I'm not the only one unimpressed. Reading answers to other people's veviews I find it amusing yet annoying that most people get the same BS answer!

I am really surprised at On The Market. I have always thought they advertised up market properties.I viewed a couple of properties in Southborough Kent recently. Neither of them were really live able up market properties. Not worth the rent being asked. Totally disgusting infact both of them

Not one single property that I requested to see was ever really ‘on the market’. Estate agents use this site to get you to sign up. You’re better off contacting estate agents directly.
