Completion on my dream property in under 2 months

Speechless. Truly lost for words, after searching for property’s in barkingside for months with no luck, I found my dream property before it was even on rightmove thanks to Hasan he worked really close with myself to understand exactly what I needed and gave me a call as soon as he heard about the property coming onto the market. We viewed the same day however was spectacle as the property was going through there new modern auction, however immediately Zak& Hasan felt me at ease and explained the procedure. I was confident enough to put a large deposit before completion and now in under 2 months have completed. Hasan was very helpful throughout I am convinced I still wouldn’t have found a property if it wasn’t for him. Now I have begun moving in the property and I would highly recommend Douglas Allen Barkingside. Genuine estate agents

This is a tricky one because there have been things about Douglas Allen that I have not liked. i wont go into detail because I want to make this all about Andy at Woodford Green branch. Andy restores my faith in Douglas Allen. I feel like he gets what I am looking for and doesnt waste my time with properties he doesnt genuinely think are worth a look. He is looking out for me and is friendly but very professional at the same time. Plus, he has a great phone manner. He has always come through with appointments when promised and not left me hanging on wondering what is going on. Thanks Andy You are 5* but I would give Doug Allen 2* if you were not there so I am going with 4* overall.

Wonderful service , stress free and no hassle . Hasan and Lisa were great ! Hasan did Sunday viewings for us frequently and also mentioned that Lisa the mortgage broker could save us money . Incredibly, Lisa saved us £150 a month for 20 years straight . A deal my previous broker would never have got . I would highly recommend speaking to Douglas Allen Hasan for your property search and also the mortgage broker Lisa.

From the start she was in touch with me, updating me with the progress of the sale and also giving me good advice about things I needed to know, in order to manage the sale efficiently. As I hadn't sold a property before, it's good to know that there are nice people like Tanya, who give good honest advice to you with efficiency and professionalism. Viewing for a property we loved

I have been looking to move to barkingside for a while now and had done a few viewings with other agents that was very basic, after calling into the barkingside branch regarding a property of interest I came across Hasan and instantly felt the warm welcome from the way he answered the phone and the passion he spoke with. However the main reason for this review was that, during weekdays myself and the Mrs work late however Douglas Allen’s Hasan catered to our needs and done a one of viewing for us at out of work hours . Even though the property was not right for us I would highly recommend Hasan and douglas Allen,as he never made us feel unwanted and took the time to listen to us!

We completed our sale in late March 2019 at 490k. We first marketed the property in August 2018, this time period was probably the most turbulent in the property market for 10 years. We trusted Stephen's 500k valuation on our property, even though other agents in August 2018 gave us a value range of 425k-450k. Khaleesha was excellent at selling our property to potential buyers. I have been dealing with the Walthamstow DA branch now for some months and have found their service excellent. They have been dealing with the sale of my deceased brother's house as part of his estate and from the start the team have been considerate and attentive.The house was in a very bad state when the team were initially approached and they have throughout given good advice and guidance regarding the sale. The condition was so bad at the commencement that it was causing me significant embarrassment but Maria, in particular, was able to allay my concerns and she was very honest and practical when advising me on the sale.My main contacts have been Maria and Ben but I have also spoken to a number of other members of the team and all have been positive and helpful. I bought my first new property with through Douglas Allen in Woodford Green. I was looked after by Khaleesha Said-Loveday and her colleagues. The whole process went very smoothly and efficiently. From arranging multiple viewings and not at all being pushy they were polite and friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. The solicitors (JSLaw) who were recommended by Douglas Allen were very efficient. The sale was not so straightforward in that it also required a lease extension. However, JSLaw worked hard to keep the process under 10 weeks (inc xmas). This was in contrast to another local Solicitors with whom another property deal fell through but they still charged me £800! The whole team, but especially Khaleesha were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you all so much! Jay Patel

Great Service via Walthamstow Office

We sold our house via the Walthamstow office care of Maria Ticehurst, Ben and team. We can thoroughly recommend them. The service was excellent and they kept us well informed of all developments, viewings and offers. Offers: Plural offers! We had many to choose from and with Maria’s expertise and experience in handing all parties we were able to get a fantastic price. In this respect she really comes into her own. We were thrilled!Ben did the majority of the viewings and was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional. I would like to thank Douglas Allen Woodford Green, specifically Khaleesha and Keith that were in direct contact with me (also Steve and Richard working hard behind the seen). Khaleesha was very friendly and patient, very polite. Keith straight to the point, great in chasing other parties to get things moving! I am a first-time buyer, so this was quite daunting experience. They were both very professional and worked really hard in explaining everything and reassured me in those hesitating moments. I really appreciate their hard work in getting me moved in really fast. I used Douglas Allen to sell my property and the Woodford Green branch were very good especially Khaleesha Said-Loveday she worked very hard on my sale especially because the buyers just messed around. My problem was with the solicitor that they recommended, DA said that if i used the solicitor they recommended it would save time !! Don’t be fooled by this. The solicitors were the most incompetent solicitors i have ever come across, i had four different solicitors in the same company and still they could not get anything right! Eventually they told me that they wouldn’t proceed with the sale and I should find another solicitors so i went to the ones i had used before and the sale went through as smooth as anything. When I complained to Douglas Allen they were not interested. So if i were you i would ignore the sales pitch that they give you about their pool of solicitors being quicker ( they get paid from them ) and find a solicitor for yourself it will be much better and probably cheaper and quicker

Outstanding, Thank YouWhile out viewing properties with Chadwell Heath office I met Michal Aloto at the open house, he discussed my situation and I had just put my property on the market with an online agent. After a couple of months I accepted an offer and when Michael was discussing new properties for me to buy said he thought the offer was low, he felt that he had buyers ready who could view my house and as it’s no sale no fee I agreed for him to come round. The first open house was a success and I got the offer £15,000 more. I had more viewers in one day than I’d had for past two months. This brilliant service didn’t stop, every time I’ve called the office the staff are all very helpful, Michelle took time to explain and help me understand what happens next.
