Can not fault Romans they helped my family get a new home extremely quick when our old landlord decided to sell up, we will be forever greatful especially to Nathan who was professional when doing our viewing and very helpful keeping us updated whilst waiting for our tenancy to start. The documents leading up to the tenancy were easy to understand and great how you can see where your progress is!

Sarah George (property manager) proactively reached out to me to inform me of my upcoming tenancy renewal and helped with the entire process and documentation. I would highly recommend Romans to anyone looking for a rental property in Reading.

James our move manager was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Any questions we had he responded very promptly to and where chases required to solicitors he did this straight away multiple times nearly daily.I don’t think we would have exchanged as quick as we did without the assistants of James. I would highly recommend Romans and James to assist in anyone trying to buy a property.

Service depends on who you get. Overall, the consultants I came in touch with were friendly. However, most comms are dealt with via email and it was very hard to reach the right people for a quick phone conversation. I think service would be better improved if clients were able to actually speak to someone as sometimes emailing and awaiting a response can ruin a good relationship.

GoogleWe've been using Romans in Reading for 17 years to rent our property, and they have consistently been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. This week I received an incorrect bill from SSE, and Pooja Chavda at Romans gave me all the necessary information for dealing with it in a matter of minutes. Excellent stuff!

£60 Getting a third party to ID check what a rip off! never been asked previously to need to pay for this as a buyer and no one I know has either. Organise the stop of using Lifetime Legal and refund your customers the money taken for an unjustifiable charge! Our solicitors can prove who we are and the legislation states the ID check needs to be done on completion not at offer accepted stage!Terrible service

I must mention Romans have some very appealing properties, and I'm sure there are helpful agents out there, but my experience has been quite stressful. I've been actively looking for properties in Bracknell. Initially, I was in contact with an agent via phone and email, but suddenly, she stopped responding. I was genuinely interested in a particular property, but despite sending several emails, I haven't received any response.

pretty much dross from the top down. I do not advise using this company to manage your lettings. They mishandle nearly every aspect and communication is terrible. Sadly they also do not take complaints seriously and just make excuses... I had to go all the way to the "Property Ombudsman" that upheld every aspect of the complaints that Romans chose to ignore... a 2 year process ! Be warned !
