GoogleWe have been dealing with Prospect since we moved into our flat back in mid January 2016. Our agent, Liz Savery from Prospect has been pretty good so far. Not long after we moved in, we had some issues with our boiler and subsequently our central heating and hot water. While the problem was being rectified, she was polite, approachable and most importantly always made sure she kept us updated on the progress of the work and made sure she always replied to my calls and emails. She worked hard going between us the tenant and the landlord and did her best to ensure the unpleasant experience of not having hot water and heating in the middle of winter was as short as possible.

GoogleI can only really comment on George White who is a Senior Client Manager on the sales side. He's the only member of staff I've spent any time dealing with, but he is brilliant. He's incredibly helpful and has offered me some sound advice on properties. He has returned every call and replied to every mail I have sent. He found me a fantastic house and then spent an evening with my vendor helping them complete the sellers pack to speed up the sale for me. I cannot recommend him more highly.

GoogleWorked great as a letting agent, with me doing the maintenance tasks directly. Very efficient and effective. Then I sold the property through them as a buy to let. they found a buyer very quickly. Not their fault that the process was drawn out by the agreed buyer for 6 months to completion but extremely frustrating.

GoogleProspect have recently sold my house in Reading and I felt they did a good job all the way through generating lots of viewings and offers. Bernadette Martin deserves a special mention for keeping the whole deal on track throughout, she kept me fully informed and was always easy to get hold of and always cheerful.

GoogleDO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! Gave Prospect one star as I couldn't give it none. Believe the reviews, they are appalling. The service is no existent, the properties are poor, the rent is ridiculous and service charges daylight robbery. The staff quite literally don't know their arm from the ****hole and will do ANYTHING to mug you off. We've had personal experience of how bad Prospect can be - DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! The abominable snowman, Santa Claus or even Geoffrey the giraffe from Toys 'R' Us - they'll do a better job. Jokes aside, they really are the worst in Berkshire, if not the UK. AVIOD!

GoogleAbsolutely useless, they failed to vet the landlords (funny how they're so keen on vetting tenants), failed completely to ensure that the landlords were able and willing to meet their responsibilities under the Landlord and Tenant Act (6 months wait was average for repairs, including 6 months over winter to replace a bedroom window frame that couldn't be closed after it rotted to bits, 6 or 7 months beginning on day one of the tenancy to replace a faulty cooker hob, 3 months to get Uncle Bodger around to make patio doors watertight). We're still awaiting the electrician to make the installation good or safe after a brief inspection at the beginning of the tenancy pointed out numerous possibly dangerous bodges contravening the Wiring Regulations. Still awaiting making good the fire stopping between the integral garage and the house interior. I won't go into the many minor issues that they were totally unwilling to resolve. About to move out and they refuse to give a reference until we've paid "arrears" which were in fact withholding rent under the terms of the Landlord and Tenant Act (as advised by our solicitor: read it, it DOES give the right to as redress for failure to maintain the property) and they've carried out a full inspection despite the place being in chaos and full of boxes and the fact that their own inspector advised that it wasn't in a fit condition for rental at the beginning of the tenancy (luckily we still have the .pdf inspector's report, or they'd be after keeping our deposit, I'm sure). Staff agree to be a point of contact but fail to inform you that they'll in fact be leaving for a nice holiday that evening, leaving emails and phone calls unanswered, every time another answers the phone they have to go through all the details again, as though there's no contact or communication between staff. We dealt with the Camberley office, but they appear to be tarred withthe same brush as all their other branches. They have the cheek to call themselves "managing" agents - couldn't manange a panic in a sinking submarine, in my opinion. All in all, a very, very disappointing experience, will be complaining to ARLA, the toothless "standards" body and probably should have commenced legal proceedings / reported to Environmental Health. It seems I have to give at least one star, I wish I could give none.

GoogleFantastic helpful and friendly staff, Know what they are doing, I required fair amount of help to get my place renovated within two weeks and let it out. They helped me find electrical contractors, decorators cleaners, kept me informed all the way the through. Brilliant service.
Our teams are always keen to help with whatever our Landlords need and it is great to hear that the service they have provided has been so helpful. Thank you for posting this.

GoogleFront start to finish it was ridiculous!! They didn't know things about the flat, garden, parking, garage.. Even the landlord was disappointed and wished he never used them... then when it came to have thew deposit returned it was like getting a tax rebate from the government!! I will never recommend them and I hope that other people do not get stung by then.. I feel sorry for the employee's!! Again do research before you use them and I mean any of them! I wish I could give them zero but it wouldn't publish :(

GoogleShocking in EVERY WAY, I am a tenant and they cannot collect rent on time, they pay by card a month early and the Landlord gets paid late as they 'loose' payments. then call and ask for details and receipts as they have lost the information. Landlord = Loosing out Tenant = massive inconvenience and made to look bad in landlord's eyes Prospect = WIN Interest for the month they don't pay the landlord and then blame everyone else. So much stress on top, a year to get a copy of a contract, unhelpful staff, rude staff, poorly trained staff. Arrogance shown is totally unbelievable. BOTH LANDLORDS AND TENANTS SHOULD AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
