I have been using Parkers for a number of years as a landlady, having had a previous bad experience with another letting agency. The service has always been excellent. I have been dealing with the same people in each department since the beginning, and the consistency is really appreciated - it also shows it must be a well run company!Queries are always replied to promptly and in a friendly manner, any issues regarding maintenance etc are also dealt with clearly and promptly. There are no unexpected additional charges for random items (I'm comparing to the previous letting agency I used..) and the tenants always seem very happy too. Very happy to recommend. Claire

We received friendly and courteous advice (from Rebecca) throughout. We were in the Netherlands and could view the property in the UK only through facetime with our daughter. Everything thereafter took place expeditiously and we were able to pick up the keys within three weeks.

When I first started renting with Parkers they seemed pretty good but over the years their standards have definitely slipped. They took far too long to carry out repairs. I spent two weeks in the middle of winter without a working boiler (and I had a 17 month old baby at the time). I wasn't given any indication of when it would be fixed or any reassurance that they were trying to sort it out during that time. Some (by no means all) of their contractors were rude and intimidating and sometimes they were given keys to enter the property without my knowledge or permission. They were dishonest when dealing with the return of my deposit, claiming that the TDS agreed with some of the charges. When I contacted the TDS for advice I was told they (TDS) could not comment on specific cases to anyone as they were impartial. I raised a dispute and it turned out that actually the TDS did not agree with those charges. When I moved out my email address was added to their marketing mailing list without my permission, but at least they have removed it since data protection laws have changed.

All the staff at parkers estate agents are brilliant , I registered with parkers to rent a 2 bed in reading area , the procedure is very simple and easy , I didn't have my own car , I was offered the lift to join holly who was very professional , polite and provided an outstanding customer experience , I would strongly recommend to sell/rent/let your property with parkers estate agents ,,,Finally I wanted to say a big massive thank you to all the team @ parkers estate agents from the beginning to end it was so outstanding customer experience , ( thank you ).

This is not a good agent I

This is not a good agent I would advise prospective tenants and landlords to stay away from them. They remind me of little Apprentice candidates in there Top Man suits with that awful I am a ruthless little businessman attitude . They try to intimidate with faux law, when you ask them what law they are referring too they do not know. Jessica does not have a friendly persona she talks in a monosyllabic abrupt way. It is not hard to be warm and friendly.

A fantastic service from start to finish. Great care was taken over getting the right advert and description of my property. The advert went up quickly and within a few days I was recieveing viewings. The proerpty sold quickly and had great input and dialouge with parkers. Once the flat had sold, there was great support from Somer who went above and beyond to ensure everything went as smoothly and quickly as possible. Would highly recommend. Used after recomendations.

Arrogant and completely

Arrogant and completely self-serving. Parkers listed a property I was interested in, but when I called to arrange a viewing it was confirmed I was not allowed to as I had sold through Purple Bricks. When I challenged this it was down to purple bricks never complete. Again I challenged and was basically hung up on. Parkers are either arrogant enough to believe that this will slow down online estate agents growth (good luck with that), or only worried about how quickly they can turnover another property. Either way the only people that benefit from this business model is Parkers, certainly not their customers. I don't know the numbers but I am certainly seeing more and more properties for sale through online companies, so Parkers are denying their customers the opportunity to sell to a growing section of the market, limiting potential buyers therefore reducing sale price. You would think that selling at a higher price would benefit them as the cut would be higher, but just kick it on seems to be the order of the day. I did complete on my property as planned, and the property that I was told I couldn't see was then relisted as it had fallen through (the irony was not lost on me). As a chain free buyer I was now allowed to view the property as I fit the kick it on brief and put an offer in on the same day. This was rejected. I then offered a higher amount, waited 2 days after hearing nothing, chased only to be told the house had sold. I would have increased my offer. If I was selling a house and could have got more for it had my estate agent been bothered to pick up the phone to someone who is clearly interested in the house, I would not be best pleased. Once again, this is either arrogance or greed (or incompetence). Certainly nothing in my experience shows that they are working to the clients best interest. I can make sure I never go anywhere near Parkers to sell, but I can only hope that any perspective sellers stay well clear so I can have a chance at viewing and buying your house.

In trying to purchase a property I went to see a few estate agents. I have to say that Parkers shone above the rest. They went out of their way to accommodate you and did not pressure you into putting offers in. With the other estate agents I was shown properties that were already under offer, with the hope that I would put in a higher offer. Parkers did not do that, and when I put an offer in and it was accepted. They took the property off the search list. Throughout the purchase they kept me in the loop. Really friendly, professional and best of all they really care. You can see in how they treat you. Another thing that annoyed me with other estate agents, was their time keeping, 1pm does not mean 2:30pm. Again, parkers when they said they'd phone, they phoned at the allotted time, when they phoned even 5 minutes late they were very apologetic. I would definitely recommend using Parkers, they know how to sell houses and treat customers. if, and when I sell this property, Parkers will be my first choice. Thank you very much Parkers for making this transaction so easy, and for keeping me informed.

Parkers were a very nice company to work with - they even let me view one property 3 different times without any complaint or pressure! Doug who showed me round a couple of properties was really nice - and very patient while I had a good look at everything! Damien who managed the purchase property was lovely to work with. He was very efficient and phoned me regularly with updates on how the purchase was progressing and he communicated with the agents in charge of my sale to ensure a coordinated moving date.

I was impressed then at how they operated, but especially now I've had the misfortune of dealing with other agents (in other parts of the country, else I'd be back with Parkers!), I can honestly say they are the best estate agents I've ever used.
