I am glad that I am served by Maintenance Manager Karen. What happened is the boiler kept weeping. The sound was annoying but come and go. She helped me to communicate to the landlord and vendors. She is so patience and willing to help. She is a true asset of Northwood. Please keep her for us.

Absolutely appalling service, so much problem with the property and no accountability for state of the property and the damp etc. poor communication and long waits for response and action taken when it comes to getting maintenance done. They attempted to charge us for damp days before we departed the property. They charged us ridiculous prices for our in our check out inventory, £35 for a washing to be taken down that could be cut with scissors 🙄, £30 to remove a plastic bag from a window. And so much more. Guys run these guys don't know what they are doing. Very unreliable and untrustworthy. I would not recommend them.

As a last issue, our washing machine stopped working and in a few days they ve sent a brand new one What can a tenant want more. I wanted to express how extremely happy we are with the service your team provide. By using Northwoods guaranteed rent scheme I have been able to remove all the stress and worry between rental periods because in fact I never have a rental period anymore. My rent is guaranteed so I can budget my expenses with my income. Aside from the odd maintenance issue, which you are flexible enough to allow me to do myself; I would hardly know I had the flat. Furthermore, judging by the condition of the property on my last inspection the quality of the tenants is excellent. I recently bought a flat through Northwood Reading. Due mainly to an issue with the numbering of the property, it took nine frustrating months from having my offer accepted to completing. Were it not for the ingenuity, supportiveness and sheer indefatigability of Northwood, in particular Ben-Li Effrien Knight, there is no doubt either I or the vendor or both would walked away long before the deal was done. When next I move, I shan't consider any other agent to sell my property. I unreservedly recommend Northwood and their dogged determination.

I had an absolute worst experience with Northwood. I felt so cheated. I had a viewing for a Flat to rent in Kennet Island which was listed for 1025 pounds per month as furnished. Since at the time of the viewing, the flat had the furniture owned by the tenant living there, I asked the agent if 1025 pounds is the price for the flat with furniture or would the rent be more if we want it furnished. Lisa told us that the rent includes the furniture and even confirmed later again on the phone. On her request, I transferred the holding deposit, so that she could take the flat off the market. At the same time, since I had 2 months notice in my current tenancy of the time, I gave my notice. But the very next day she called me up to tell that the landlord wants to charge 1050 pounds since he will have to put the furniture. This was after we even gave the holding deposit. I tried to explain to her that it's not fair as she confirmed that the rent is for a furnished flat. Instead, she was asking me why I gave notice in my current flat and how I was so sure that I will pass the reference check. Was that even a point? I knew that I will pass as I was renting a more expensive flat through a more prominent estate agency for the last three years, paying the rent when due. After a heated argument, I gave up on the flat and told them not to mislead people by saying 1025 for furnished flat. And they apologized and promised that they will change the description. But they still didn't. They again listed the flat as furnished, even going as far as to say that it comes with luxury furniture when they actually proposed to put the cheapest IKEA furniture. Agencies like these still believe that landlords have the right to anything and tenants have no rights. Shame on them.
