Overall, very professional service. From the viewing to securing a place, everything was smooth, and communication was concise and swift. As a landlord with multiple properties that Martin & co Reading have managed for over 12 years, all I can say is that it has been a very positive experience. Communication is great from all the team, especially when it comes to maintenance- unlike some agencies they keep the repair costs to a minimum. Overall, very happy with service provided by this office & safe in the fact that my properties are fully legally compliant thanks to their guidance

From the offset Martin & Co were superbly helpful during the application and moving process. I was moving from abroad into my first apartment, and after having difficult experiences with other agencies, I was extremely surprised and happy with the service and communication from Kyra Smith. She answered every question and kept in contact all the way to their close date in the winter holidays and straight away into the new year. I am very excited about my new apartment and feel very comfortable asking questions and getting into contact with Kyra and the rest of the team in the future.

Only giving it a star because aim forced to. If I could this would be a -1⭐️ Absolutely terrible. They have zero interests for the tenants, they only care about the landlord’s interests and their own £££ Honestly AVOID at all costs!! They’ll be all sweet and rope you into a contract you aren’t happy with only for you to end up on the streets. I regret giving these scammers even a dime.

I've managed my own rental properties for the past 7 years so I was nervous about handing them over to an agent. Stephen filled me with confidence from our first meeting and I haven't looked backed. Tenants were found for both of my properties very quickly and the whole experience has been great. I would happily hand any future properties over to him to look after. I have also been dealing with Anita since the tenants have moved in and her service and communication has been great. It's such a relief to know that our properties are in such good hands. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would definitely recommend this branch of Martin & Co.

This agent really helped me to find my first rental after over a month of looking. I was in contact mainly with Kyra Smith, who was very nice and very helpful. Her communication and she was very helpful with any enquiries I had. When I moved in, I got a box of goodies as a Welcome Pack, which was very sweet. Any issues I have at the flat, they're very quick to answer and sort the issue. They're a great agent and very easy to work with. I had to deduct two stars simply because of how bad the handyman they decided to work with is. You're much better off hiring your own handyman as MSBuilders half asks jobs and never fully fixes it just seals it for a couple of months. I've had ongoing issues with the shower since I moved in, and every single time, the handyman temporarily seals it for 2 months just for it to happen again. I couldn't live in my house that I paid rent for, FOR 2 WEEKS due to the incompetence of this handyman. And when he did eventually come after 2 weeks he didn't fit any of the issues and instead spent the entire time moaning about the state of my house and how I apparently 'don't clean it'. This incident occurred on Monday, 23rd September 2024, at around 11 am. This seems like a marketing con to keep my deposit, so I've kept evidence just in case. This handyman is just losing the agent more and more money. It really sucks because the agency itself is so good.
