GoogleHaving had a Tenant that had not been thoroughly checked for references left me £7,000 out of pocket plus additional court fees. David the GM of the Earley branch talked his way out of this and left me to deal with all issues including chasing the Tenant myself. I would never recommend David and Haart Estate agents to anyone. Please do not use them.
Dear Ms Dunk, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review, although I am very disappointed to read it. This relates to a tenancy from over 3 years ago, and it is important that I explain that the reference checks were completed thoroughly by a third party referencing company, and did pass. As you know, the tenant was unable to afford the rent due to personal circumstances which unfortunately led to her having to be evicted from the property. We always offer every landlord a Rent and Legal Protection Policy, to help protect them from this type of situation. However, you declined to take this. As a result, you regretfully incurred a loss of income and costs. I am genuinely very sorry indeed that this happened, as I was at the time. However, although I am truly sympathetic on this issue, haart acted in good faith and with professionalism throughout. Should you wish to discuss this matter again, I would be very happy to do so with you. Kind regards, David Brownbill
