GoogleI have been a tenant using ryder and dutton for 2 and half years. In general, the service is professional and informative. I have in contact with Sarah periodically during my tenancy and she is always helpful, informative and quick to respond to any queries. She has completed my tenancy efficiently and fast. I am very happy with the service I have received over the years.

GoogleWe have been with Ryder & Dutton in Rawtenstall for approximately 4 years on the full management service, since the company took over Ely long. We have been impressed with the effort that Racheal and Sarah have put in to looking after us and our property in our absence. This includes disputes with neighbours, tenant issues and health and safety issues to name a but a few. Any time we have needed contact with them they have been readily available to talk to with any queries. They are incredibly helpful and polite and have been punctual in action if any work that was required on our property. we are very happy with the service provided, which gives us with peace of mind. GoogleUseless unprofessional company, had 1 viewing in 6 months and when we changed estate agent we had 3 viewings In the first 2 days what does that tell you? When I spoke to Ryder & Dutton during our notice period they said my kitchen needed taking out as tests needed doing from when it was built on the gas which hadn't been done , they was scaremongering us because we was changing agents this proves what an unprofessional company they are, also the house up for sale with these across the road from our house WE HAVE JUST SOLD is still up for sale over a year and I never see people viewing the property. You want a quick sale or a sale at all go elsewhere.
Dear Mr Townsend. Thank you for your feedback regarding your wife’s property. For the record, I will try to address your points. Regarding the sale of your wife’s new build home and the issues to which you refer, the team here spoke to Rossendale Building Control (RBC), who advised us that at the time of completion of the new estate, the builder’s gas engineer’s licence had expired. As a result, the completion certificate could not be issued and until it was, these properties “~could not be resold”. Far from scaremongering, this is very real and relevant information and it would have been remiss of us not to relay this to a vendor. RBC, had advised that in order to get this signed off, you would need to remove the fitted kitchen, in order to get to the gas installations and get this matter signed off. Whilst dramatic and I’m sure a shock to you, we were simply passing on information that we had been advised, by the issuing authority. Looking at the notes on the file, we agreed to try listing your wife’s property in the first instance at £175,000. The property was reduced in the new year, by £15,000, and I note that with your new listing you have now reduced your asking price by a further £15,000, or over 10% of your new asking price. I feel that this £30,000 reduction may well have influenced your spike in interest. At Ryder and Dutton, we offer a no sale-no fee service, as we believe in what we do and believe that if we do not deliver a sale for whatever reason, that our clients should not be charged. To this end, we also do not tie our clients in for any long, fixed terms, giving clients the flexibility to move. We have a terrific, locally based and experienced team here and we all genuinely care about every one of our vendors and the job that we do. I am sincerely sorry that you felt our services fell short in this instance as we typically get excellent reviews form our vendors. Given your review, it would appear that we could have better communicated the issues to you, so that you could have better understood the problems that had arisen. Any questions I’ve had she has answered quickly, nothing has ever been an issue. Always very friendly and helpful. I have spoken with a few others at the branch and they have always been very helpful too. All of the team has taken away the stress of selling/ purchasing a house. GoogleExcellent staff and a very professional yet personal approach to service. Due to my nature of business, I have numerous interactions with many estate agents across the north west, on a weekly basis, however this Rawtenstall branch stand out above many and they are always very successful and pleasant interactions, swift responses with no problems. It's rare to get a branch that has such a good collective team of people under one roof. Graham, Shannon, Beth, Alex and Sarah are all equally approachable, informative and skilled at what they do. Will Definitely continue to use this branch, again and again and again.

GoogleSwitched to R&D after originally choosing another agent who moved out of the town (and then basically didn't bother marketing our property or even communicating with us). Straight away we saw that R&D were on a different level and were extremely pro-active and responsive to our needs, especialy Shannon who was great throughout the whole process. Would strongly recommend them to future sellers based on my experience.
