As a buyer, I didn't expect the sellers chosen estate agents to be that interested in keeping us happy but Lisa was actually a breath of fresh air. She was a brilliant mediator between us and the seller, she really understood our positions and she was keen to get the sale through just as much as we were, whatever hiccups we came across. How an estate agent should be! Lisa was accessible and always came back to us when she said she would. She kept the momentum going, which was invaluable. I was really grateful to have Lisa on board to get our purchase through during a turbulent time (Covid-19). Thank you Lisa for all of your help.

I am currently in the process of applying for my first mortgage. I had an online meeting with Elliott and his service was outstanding. He went above and beyond. It was clear that the most important thing to Elliott was making sure I got the best most affordable mortgage as quickly as possible so I didn't lose out on the property I wanted to reserve. Elliott was always quick to reply, even on weekends and checked in often! Couldn't recommend enough.

I can't tell you how impressed I've been with the seamless and effortless (on my part only I'm sure) remortgage experience I've had at this branch. I met with Sarah, one of the senior mortgage advisors there who made the whole process and absolute doddle. I was a mortgage advisor myself in a past life, and know that the piles of applications can really build up. I felt like I was her only customer. I had a product recommended, an application signed and a mortgage offer in hand within two weeks. I didn't do anything aside from provide her with some payslips and bank statements. Regular communication and updates make a difference and she really kept me in the loop. We discussed everything in detail, but I never felt it was too much. Due to health issues, I couldn't take the life insurance quote any further but if I could I would have bought it in a second. It's important to consider all these options, and I could tell this was for my benefit, not hers. Sarah is an asset to W H Brown. Don't let this one go!

She has been incredible from the very first meeting ensuring I understood everything that was involved in the mortgage application. As a first time buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect but from the get go Sarah was friendly, knowledgeable and patient - talking through all of my options and taking the time to make sure I understood all of the information. Using Dan’s services has honestly been one of the best decisions we have ever made. We went back and forth for ages about using a broker at all, but he offered so much support to us as first time buyers right from the off, was always available and friendly, that it’s hard now to think why! I used William H Brown's in house mortgage advisor - Dan. He was so friendly and helpful from the start, he managed to not only find the perfect property for me but also appealed a mortgage decision and got me 14k more than any other advisor had predicted. He did absolute everything for me and it made the whole experience stressfree. If it was just Dan I had dealt with it would have been a 5 star rating 100%. I did however deal with other members of the William H Brown staff which were nothing but an annoyance. Although I had stressed multiple times I did not want to be contacted and it should all go through my legal team due to the nature of my job I was receiving multiple calls every day from staff (albeit not all Pudsey Branch staff more of the calls were from sequence but not all) who were not communicating with one another so I was having the same conversation time and time again. Over all though it's been a great experience buying my first home, I will 100% be returning to Dan the mortgage advisor. I really can't stress enough how helpful he was, even answering my calls and texts and silly oclock, he really couldn't do enough for me, so Thanks Dan, I couldn't be happier with my house!

It was my first time buying a house and I wanted to know how much I could borrow. I saw a couple of mortgage advisors but the branch mortgage advisor Dan was so helpful and found me a lender that would lend £12k more than another advisor. He helped me to understand the process and explained everything very simply for me. Dan has been fantastic throughout the process and regularly contacts me for updates and to see how I’m getting on. I couldn’t thank and recommend him enough! The other staff at the branch were also really helpful in finding me houses to view and we’re always very friendly.

Absolutely discussed today with William H Brown in pudsey. I put in an offer on a property ,this offer was turned down. They rang to say that if i offered .......... he would except and leave everything for me. I rang them on Tuesday on said that I would pay this amount. After ringing at least for times I finally spoke to Angela on Thursday. Angela said that he had excepted another offer!!! how disgusting! They didn't have the decency to ring and let me know. My sister sold her property with them and the customer service was also disgusting. If your considering going with them becarefull their all over you like a rash until they have your business I had to put one star because it wouldn't let me post unless I did!!!!

I rented a property of theirs and they were the worst agency I have ever dealt with. Regardless of being a mortgage adviser for a competitor or not, that makes no difference in regards to how you treated me as a tenant! Again showing how un-profressional you are. You took money from my deposit for something I apparently owed you 4 years ago. They held money back from my deposit which even the TDS said they were not allowed to do. It went to a mediator and I won the case as they had not shown they had attempted to collect anything that was owned to them. In conclusion, just because I am a mortgage adviser for another agency makes absolutely no relevance to your service as an estate agent for a tenant!!!!! And the fact that you cannot find my details well thats ridiculous since I rented one property from you for 6 years!!!! maybe your staff should be trained on how to use your system to show archived clients.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

The Pudsey team at William H Brown handled the sale of my Dad and his wife's house. They were excellent to deal with from initial house inspection and valuation, through to completion. Within a few days of going live the house had around 25 viewings booked and my dad and his wife accepted a great offer above the asking price within the first week.
