PLEASE DON'T USE THEM. RUBBISH

PLEASE DON'T USE THEM, they are rubbish. This Allerton road office are about as a useful as a chocolate fire guard. They rarely answer their telephone and when you leave a message they never get back to you, the same with emails, they never even acknowledged my email when I cancelled my contract with them. Most of the viewers that I had told me they had terrible trouble trying to get through to them,some of them had to go down physically to the office. I had to take over the viewings of my late mother's house after the first three they did on my behalf because the alarm system went off. On the 3rd occasion the back door to the property was left open and the door to the garden was open.

Had my house up for sale with another…

Had my house up for sale with another Estate agent, Jones & Chapman phoned me week upon week trying to take over the services of selling my property. When my 8 week contract ended with my existing Estate agent, I decided I would come over to Jones & Chapman based on their claims that they had "people queing up to buy in the area" and nationwide databases of people all waiting to move into the area" That was October 2023. I cannot stress how utterly disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the lack of viewings and servces I have received..so far I have had 3 bookings since October and none of them have showed up. Where have all the people they claimed were going to buy my property gone?.. they probably never existed in the first place, and when you inform them that their booking was a no show, nobody seems to care. Half of the time when you try and contact Jones & Chapman you can't get through, and if you are lucky enough to speak to somebody, you are told that somebody will phone you back...but they never do. I would not use this estate agent. Avoid at all cost.

Would not recommend for conveyancing (Little Sutton branch)

Not happy at all with the service we got from J&C’s Little Sutton branch. They weren’t proactive or particularly helpful. It never felt like they were acting on our behalf. The only time they were enthusiastic was when they were pitching for the commission and agreeing their fee. Wish that we had used another agent.

We where looking at selling our house to an agency that guaranteed fast sale. When seeing the ridiculously low offer i contacted jones and Chapman .. That day a guy named Daniel Crawford came and had a chat about what to expect from him if he where to sell our house for us.. From the very start Daniel was professional and very aprocable. And we decided to market with jones an Chapman . With in 3 days we had vewings . And Feed back regarding the vewings. With in 2 weeks we had an offer and the sail of our house is going threw. . We where not expecting such a fast sale. And i can only realy give my experience of the main person i delt with . If you do sell your property with J&c an you get the same Daniel Crawford supporting you with the sail of your house im sure you will find him very knowable efficient and helpful . I recently visited Jones and Chapmans, Antony Flynn, for mortgage advice which eventually led to a swift and easy mortgage. Even though my circumstances where complicated to say the least, with self-employment and agency working history with adverse credit, Anthony re-assured me that he will do his best. I spoke to 5 different advisors altogether and 4 told me it was not possible due to my situation and I would have to pay extremely high rates. Antony went out of his way to research and find me the best deal and came through. I couldn't be more happy with the service he and Jones and Chapman provided and would highly recommend them. Communication was awful

Communication was awful. We put an offer in on a house and waited days to hear back. The whole time they did not mention another vendor offering. I had spoke to them in between to see what was taking so long to hear. Then said we’d been outbid. No mention of any other offers. Not really apologetic and couldn’t care less.

Complete scammers and theives

Well I would like to say I'm shocked to see such bad score but after the phone call Ov just had im not. Rented a property back in 2016 was in a round about way warmed the landlord was a difficult man but wanted our kids to go the local school and that's all that was available we stuck it out for 8 years. The house falling apart around us and the landlord fixing NOTHING. So we left once our kids education was complete in Jan 2024. Then began the second war. The war with J&C trying to get my nearly £1500 deposit back is impossible. Being told I had to contact TDS for them to say not J&C have it now they are saying unless I can get a letter from Lucifer to say we can have it they wont give us it as they never managed the property. Well the guy could be dead for all I know as I have no contact details for his as he changed them over the years and never gave them to me. So now I got to court just what I need right now

We owe our house to Rhys. He got us the mortgage we needed for our dream house when no one else told us we could get one. He guided us every step of the way even when we were battling with Regenda and Solicitors to get anything done. He really couldn’t help us enough. If you need a mortgage I would recommend Rhys to everyone. The Man is a complete professional and I’ll be using him again when it comes to remortgaging in a couple of years time

We chose Jones and Chapman after hearing two good reviews off our friends. Booking an appointment was really quick and easy. We were assigned Nick Cabo as our advisor and he was an absolute god send. Explained everything thoroughly and set us realistic time frames of when we could expect things to happen. As first time buyers we didn’t know where to start but nick talked us through everything and was always on hand via call or email if needed. We would have really struggled without him, we now have our offer and are progressing and know nick will be there for any queries or concerns we have to guide us the best he can. Very poor service from Allerton branch…

Very poor service from Allerton branch in Liverpool. Hardly any viewings then some couldnt get into house despite having being told about Key safe. Found buyer myself. Rude about flat always wanted to reduce. When finally did the deal lied about including furniture on final offer. Very dissatisfied with service no information regarding what was happening -Jess and Andrea in office incompetent. On the market (know it was quite tough times) for 18 months Do not recommend -very difficult to get on phone hardly ever rang back. Did really very little for the fee. Use anyone esle !

Woeful customer service

Unfortunately the same thing has happened yet again with this branch. Book in for a viewing at the earliest possible time. Then get a phone call the day before the viewing to say someone has viewed and had an offer accepted. Spoke to the branch manager who said they only have 1 viewing Clark, and they only work part-time. This means they can only do viewings on very few days. Awful customer service, and goes hand in hand with when I almost dealt with them for a mortgage Branch Manager was that arrogant that he couldn’t even stomach an apology
