GoogleWhat can I say, the team at poole are simply incredible! We were let down by another agency less than a week before we were due to move into our rental property. And Martin & co literally were our lifesavers! They booked our viewing swiftly around my busy schedule and incredibly got both our new home and referencing done in time for us to collect keys. I’m so utterly grateful. Best agency I’ve ever used, and would highly recommend. Attention to detail, exceptional customer service. Special mentions to Sue, Caroline, Hayley and the business owner Steve. You’ve got an awesome team, and I will be pointing my friends, colleagues and family in your direction if they’re looking to buy, sell, rent or let. Hayley made the move in appointment exceptionally easy and again at a time to suit us, she was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. GoogleExcellent, responsive, timely, courteous property managers. Martin and Co were very accommodating of our various requests throughout our tenancy and then during us moving out of our flat the end of our contract (e.g. cancelling one of the periodic property inspections at a time when we were very busy and the place was full of moving boxes). They seem like all-around good eggs and we were very happy with the service we received from them. Despite what I'd learned about letting agents from watching the telly, not a single one of the Martin and Co employees offered me a cheeky swifter of Turkish champagne, tried to feed my newborn child egg, or chased a pigeon around our flat while knocking over all of our possessions. While this was mildly disappointing in the end, I suppose I should be thankful.

GoogleTerrible agency if you are a tenant! Very intrusive (inspections every 2 months) telling us what to do in the house we pay £1200 rent for! they try to keep our deposit! The woman said, " it might take a couple of weeks." Couple of WEEKS!?I explained that if I don't have a deposit in my account in 7 days, the landlord will have to pay interest on our money! Suddenly, the next day, all was good apart from the extra charges for cleaning fees (£159😂) of the spotless house we cleaned from top to bottom. Once again, I said nahh.. I want all the money back, or we will discuss this through DPS. I get money the next day. Don't let them scare you, and invade your place you are paying good money for! They don't have any rights and they know it (most of this people in the office probably don't as they came across with very basic knowledge of anything and are useless) So yeah if you an a tenant be aware of those scamers!
Dear Marta Thank you for your review which is very perplexing. In the 12 months you were living in the property we carried out one inspection. The only thing we asked you to do was to clear the bricks in the front garden after you took down the front wall with the owners permission. The next inspection booked for 6 months later was cancelled when you refused us entry. Inspections are carried out simply because the landlord expects and wants them. After you vacated, my colleague sent you the check out report on the day we received it and then the landlord wanted to visit the property in person. The landlord asked us to claim for some cleaning which was discussed with you and you were not happy with. We reported this back to the landlord who then decided to not claim and for the deposit to be returned in full. The Deposit Protection Service who held the money then returned this to you. There is no scamming going on (and to claim this in writing is libellous) just a small amount of negotiation.

GoogleI recently sold my property through Martin & Co and have to say their service is second to none. Gail especially is on the ball from beginning to end. Chasing solicitors and other buyers within the chain. She constantly keeps you up to date and is available to discuss/reassure. I would highly recommend Martin & Co for all your property needs as the complete team in the office work together for a smooth transition. I guess the difference I discovered with Martin & Co is that ALL the staff care and obviously enjoy their jobs. This reflected in calls being answered, quick call backs and a smiling face in the office to greet you. Thank you Martin & Co.
