My brother and I rented a 2 bed flat through Darlows for approximately one and a half years. The company were helpful, ensuring a easy move in. When the time came for us move out of the property I have to say Sam McAllister was extremely helpful. Whilst completing the end of tenancy inspection he was very friendly and informative explaining the process, which areas usually affect the tenants deposits, and which areas are usually a concern for the landlord. Sam continued to demonstrate utmost level of customer care by phoning and updating me personally on the status of my 'check out' and when I should expect to get my deposit back. I honestly couldn't sing the mans praises enough

This company is absolutely useless !

This company is absolutely useless !! We have been renting with darlows for just under a year when we originally put the offer in on the property it was on the grounds that it would be painted cleaned and all the nails and holes in the wall would be replaced/ repaired BEFORE WE MOVED IN as it was in a pretty bad state from the people before. instead of them getting this sorted before we moved in the day we picked up the keys we was told it had not been done yet, a year later they are asking us to sign for another year which there’s not a chance in hell I would do! It’s been a year and I have asked for an inventory several times as it is a legal document required for liability, every time I have tried to ask I have been ignored and they had the cheek to tell me next years rent will be going up the way this place is managed is horrific as soon as you have put ur deposit down and paid first month rent you will be ignored and left to your own devices. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone honestly

Very sincere and helpful staff

Moving into a new house is never a simple affair and we did have some minor issues at the start of the tenancy (totally expected and normal), however, the team at Darlows have been very efficient in helping us to the best of their ability. Namely Sam Mcallister & his colleague Zara have been very good at helping us deal with any problems we've had so far. As a younger couple it certainly feels like the first time our concerns have been seriously addressed.

Gareth Coleman has been great throughout resolving a deposit dispute on a large HMO with 7 tenants. Tristram gave us sound, practical advice to us as first time landlords and Emma was efficient when the tenants were found. Communication has been good considering the trying times we are in. We particularly like the emails that re iterate what has been discussed on the phone so that we have a record of events. Tayah has been pleasant and efficient.

I was taken in car from pontypridd to hopkinstown by geriant to do 2 more viewings I was totally unfamiliar with area, which geriant knew, whilst experiencing a heatwave he left me in hopkinstown to walk back a main road in extreme heat asking for directions there was no shade, I felt light headed, dizzy, and desperate to get back to pontypridd town centre It would of taken him minutes to drop me back but he was busy, I'd travelled 2 hours to get to pontypridd and 2 hours home. Geriants desperation to be a salesman, sell sell sell offered zero customer service so was extremely disappointed

I recently sold my property through a more reputable agent. Since my house has been on the market and sold I have been bombarded with unwanted phone calls from Darlows. I’ve asked on three of these occasions to remove me from their call list and have been told they would do this, yet I continue to get calls. I’ve asked how they obtained my mobile phone number and was told I must have supplied it on their website. I’ve never been on their website. I have reported the GDPR breaches. I would not recommend this business as they clearly throw personal information around and can’t perform simple tasks. Very poor.

My partner and I have recently had an offer accepted as first time buyers. Although this purchase is not complete yet, the Darlows team at Pontypridd have been exceptionally helpful. Always very accommodating and no question was ever too much trouble. I would like to mention George in particular, who was extremely proactive in making us aware of the property and arranging viewings, with one viewing being conducted out of normal working hours.
