I have got my property up for rent…

I have got my property up for rent soon, but getting doubts if I should use darlows, They hardly answer emails with questions. Never communicate with me, I'll be out of the country while my property will be rented, how can I trust darlows to give full management of my property when they didn't communicate with me.Had app today just for someone to help me fill out licence form, as never did one, I turned up at shop, but he wasn't there. I should have looked at the reviews first before deciding with darlows, nothing but bad reviews

The people are thieves!

The people are thieves!I bought a house with them in Tredegar Wales and they don't even let me have the spare keys or the contact details of the person renting the house currently. It is their way to blackmail me to use their lettings team to manage the house which has proven to be useless.People involved in this? Oliver Manifold (lettings team), Daniel Watkins (sales) and Jessica Jones (sales).If this drags a bit more I will contact a lawyer and start legal action. They have me trapped trying to get management fees for being useless. They sold me the house and they want proof it is mine ffs. You managed the property in the past and you never increased the price, why would I let you manage my property now if you are useless!?Awful experience top to bottom, never again!

AVOID IF YOU CAN!!Contacted via Rightmove to make 2 property sales viewings with Albany Road Cardiff branch. Two apartments in the same block both confusingly listed in different ways on Rightmove with different addresses.! Both myself and my partner took time off work to meet the sales agent . Nobody turned up from Darlows for either viewing.. …Contacted Darlows’s office but put through to emergency number overflow I was told there was no record of the bookings even though I was addressed by name. And there was no facility to contact anybody by mobile phone.Finally managed to get through to the Albany Road office who said there’s been some kind of mix up and they would try to get someone out Asap to show two properties …We couldn’t waste any more time waiting .UNPROFESSIONAL HEADLESS CHICKENS !!

Poor communication and not remotely proactive

About a grand more expensive commission-wise than more personable estate agents in the area. Best hope that they sell your house within a couple of weeks or else they completely lose interest and move on to newer properties. Poor communication all the while and broken promises in regards to better advertising the property. Have since sold the house with a more competent estate agent within two weeks of it going back on the market.

Don't use this company to let a property.

I have let a residential property as a landlord through Darlows for the last 18 months and my experience has been diabolical!Please with respect do not use this company, sign up with someone else. Total lack of management, avoidance of communication, inability to send requested documents and information, excuses and all round disgraceful service. Unfortunately a star had to be chosen in order to write a review. In reality I would have chosen a minus star option if there was one, (there really should be) .Total waste of money, I have paid them for absolutely nothing other than frustration and a wrecked property. Shoddy!!

I have just gone through the process of purchasing my very first property and what a stressful experience that turned out to be. Have to say that Jackie from the Pontypridd office was a god send, even though she was not representing me, she took the time to call me on a regular basis and keep me updated on the process. At times I was getting no response from my solicitors or the estate agents, and found this very frustrating, but Jackie called at least once a week to let me know how things were progressing & also to let me know whether I needed to chase anything up. Intentional harassment or just inept?

Roughly 7 weeks ago, I was curious about selling my home so entered my details on GetAgent.com, a comparison site. During this, I specifically asked not to be contacted by any of the listed agents, of which there were several. All of these agents listened, except Darlows. I would estimate that in the past 7 weeks, Darlows has tried contacting me in excess of 25 times, even though I’ve already informed them that I’m not interested. I’ve had to block their number but despite this, they’re still attempting to call me several times a week and leaving voicemails about my “recent enquiry”, which isn’t too recent after 7 weeks.A few thoughts:- Is the immediate direct to voicemail not obvious that I’ve blocked your number? Since blocking, you’ve called well over 15 times and left the same annoying voicemail- Do you think aggressively pursuing leads makes me want to sell with you?- Why don’t you have a limit on how many times you purse a lead?- Why are you still calling even though I’ve spoken to a member of your Rumney branch to say I’m not interested?- How come no other estate agent contacted me but Darlow did? I did not consent for my data to be passed on. I emailed your Rumney branch on September 24th asking that this issue be resolved. Of course, no response was received and several calls are still being made to me. Please remove my details from your database and stop harassing me with phone calls. I’d further recommend that you review your overly aggressive tactic of spamming leads with calls when they’re quite clearly avoiding you.
