James Clarke and the team at Lang Town have been involved with Foliot House, our 21-unit development in Crownhill, from the start. Even before we purchased the site, James was instrumental in helping us appraise the deal, giving us the benefit of his local market knowledge and providing comparables to support our purchase. After we had purchased the building, James spent time helping us get floorplans just right for the target market, making suggestions that cleverly optimised the use of the space. The team at Lang Town have been proactive with sales and marketing throughout, liaising with our design team and ensuring early reservations were secured. James organised a successful launch weekend (thankfully just before the first lockdown in 2020), at which around half the units were reserved. Despite the global pandemic, Lang Town continued to market Foliot House, and secured all 21 sales before the end of the year - no small achievement given the dramatic events this year has thrown at us. From start to finish, Lang Town & Country have provided a professional, responsive and incredibly effective service. They have been relentless in progressing sales and Help To Buy applications, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to developers and homeowners alike.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Phoned to view a property as soon as it was listed for sale, was given what I was told was their earliest viewing appointment over a week later on a Friday of a bank holiday weekend. Arrived for viewing to find someone else waiting to view the same property and minutes after getting into the property another family arrived to view. We were all rushed around the property, the agent couldn't answer any of our questions, she didn't even know where the boiler was in the property or seem particularly interested then we were told that they would need best and final offers by 12pm the following day, Saturday of a bank holiday weekend!I feel sorry for the seller as they are undoubtedly going to lose out.

Amazing team at the Plymstock office.

The company were great start to finish, our case was slightly different as we were leaving the country before the sale of our house. Everyone in the office kept us up to date with viewings, photos etc. They also re did photos once tenants had left at our request and gave us tips and tricks for a sale. Once a buyer was found the whole process was fast and easy with no badgering on my part.

From the moment I contacted Lang Town & Country (Plymstock branch), I was dealt with in a very polite and efficient manner. The valuation was conducted by Paul at a time to suit myself and within a week, the house was on the market at an agreed price. The professional photographer arrived shortly afterwards. Within a couple of weeks it was sold for very near the asking price and within 8 weeks the keys were handed over. The whole team were very knowledgeable and efficient. No issues whatsoever. Very good at keeping everyone informed

We worked through Lang to buy our house. They did a great job of keeping in touch with all parties, even though things got tense and extended as legal issues kept on causing complications.One thing was wrong though, the dimensions of the rooms in their brochure. While it says and we know not to use them to plan with, several rooms were wrong by 300mm or so, one bedroom more so as it measured into a difficult area to actually use and the lounge section was over measured in its width around 1m. The door from the house into the garage was also misplaced on the plan to the wrong end of a wall. None of this affected us as their house video and our visit told us all we needed, but their contractor who measured didn't do a good job

Garreth and his team have just sold our flat on the waterfront and it has been a pleasure to deal with all of them. Garreth gave us a realistic valuation of which they achieved 90%, compared to completely unrealistic valuations from other agents which would have led to us having to make several reductions.
