GoogleMy wife and I have rented our properties through Brookdale for 17 years. The true value of a letting agent lies in the way they act when things go wrong (as they will do from time to time). We have had only one slightly imperfect tenant and Brookdale handled the situation in exemplary fashion. We suffered no financial loss. We can recommend them unreservedly.

GoogleAs a landlord, I've had nothing but excellent service from Brookdale. Their tenant vetting process is thorough and the level of detail in their inventory is exceptional. The team are all trained to work according to their roles and they are very quick to respond to phone calls and emails. I have dealt with many individual members of the Brookdale team on numerous occasions and each always seems to know what they're doing. Staff appear to work together as a coordinated team rather than greedy individuals chasing a commission. Having used a number of other agents in the past, none have shown they can operate the way Brookdale do. Their stringent practices and procedures are precisely what a diligent landlord needs. I shall continue to use Brookdale as their work is second to none.

GoogleI’ve let properties through Brookdale on and off for the past 20 years and I’ve got nothing but praise for Dave, Mike and their team. Trustworthy, helpful and highly professional. No hard sell or flannel. I’ve been looking to expand my portfolio and Dave’s been more than happy to chat through potential purchases and give advice. They’ve a well-deserved reputation for being by far the best letting agent in Peterborough and I wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. Fees more than fair considering the personalised service provided. Perhaps some agents are cheaper but then you get what you pay for.

GoogleMy reason for choosing Brookdale as a landlord initially was geographical but it became obvious from my time subsequently as a tenant elsewhere that other agents don't come close. They are, without question, the best agent for landlords and tenants alike, in the Peterborough area. I haven't singled one or two individuals out for the simple reason that they are all professional, courteous, informed, willing, helpful, swift and accurate at all aspects of their particular jobs. I would be willing to speak to any person considering dealing with them about any specific points they may have a concern with but I can assure you that I don't expect any calls! :-) Comment on agent fees I paid the extra 2.5% for peace of mind but if you are a good landlord with a good property you probably won't need to as their tenants are particularly well vetted. GoogleI currently use Brookdale Property Management to manage my portfolio and I have to say the levels of experience and knowledge from the team is excellent. My properties are well maintained and they keep the process simple. Being in the property industry myself I know this is down to their experience from the initial vetting of the tenants and their processes. As an independent company they do care about their Landlords. I would highly recommend Brookdale Property Management.

GoogleI rented from Brookdale Property Management for a number of years recently before moving abroad and I have rented before from different letting agents in the past. Brookdale's service level is superior to any other agent I have used. They provide a full VIDEO inventory on DVD at the start of the tenancy and a full inventory at the end so there are no disputes. In the meantime, during their regular inspections, they provide extremely helpful advice on how to look after your home in order to secure a full deposit return at the end of the Tenancy. Before you leave they visit your property for what they call a "pre-leaving inspection" and provide even more helpful advice about how to leave the property in a condition that will ensure a full deposit return. I can't speak for Landlords as I was a Tenant with Brookdale but, judging by my experience renting from them, their service level seems second to none. Certainly much better than I received in the past from other agents. I highly recommend them.

GoogleI'm a first time tenant and went with Brookdale Property Management. I have to say they were very professional from the beginning and all the way through my tenancy, explaining everything very well. I encountered several staff throughout my tenancy and every single one was polite and helpful. They even helped me find a new property when I needed to move. I found them to be accessible and attentive and I always knew where I stood. If I ever had any problems that needed sorting then they were quick to get to that too. They conducted my exit from current tenancy quickly, and explained what I needed to do to try and make sure I got my deposit back - and I did - in full (lots of cleaning required and care for the flat through out my tenancy though!!). Thanks to all of you at Brookdale - great job.

Brookdales ensured that renting out a property from the other side of the world was a completely pain free experience. GoogleBrookdale have rented out my property in Peterborough since 2002. I cannot thank them enough for the excellent service they have provided. They answer my emails promptly and let me know immediately if anything needs doing to the property and if it does, it is actioned immediately. They have been excellent in finding me tenants and inspect the property regularly to ensure everything is in order. Although I do not visit their office to meet the staff personally, all correspondence from the staff is very friendly and supportive. Yesterday, for the first time in many years, I did meet one member of staff to review the property and he was superb in the time he gave me,the information provided and the friendly approach to our discussions. Thank you Brookdale for the excellent service you provide.

GoogleI am a first time landlord spending most of my time abroad. I purchased the house 5 years ago and appointed Brookdale to manage it for me on the recommendation from a friend. During this time I have not been without good tenants. The level of communication and advice from Brookdale is excellent, both professional and prompt. They have a rent guarantee scheme, which I use, and is also reassuring that the quality of the tenant must be high as the scheme is their own. In summary, as an absentee landlord, I feel my property is being managed effectively, professionally and my experience has been stress free. I recommend Brookdale without hesitation

GoogleConsistently thorough, quality service from Brookdale. Having rented my property through another agent previously, I now know that all rental agents are not the same! Brookdale have by far exceeded the service I got before . I value Brookdale's thoroughness and attention to detail. They are prompt in their responses to any queries I have had and I am aware that they are fair to the tenant as well, as they want any issues resolved swiftly. Luckily I have not had any major issues with my property but even the minor issues they have asked me for a decision quickly and talked me through my options. I have peace of mind from the regular inspections and feedback is given to me. They have always got me good tenants swiftly. My property has hardly ever been vacant for more than a few days and I know that their tenant selection process is very through as it includes an inspection of the tenants current accommodation to check out they can maintain the standards that I would want. I can definitely advise you to use Brookdale.

GoogleAs i spend most of the year living in spain i depend on brookdale to look after my property as ive used various agents before in the uk and in spain brookdale come out on top they are the best agents around, they always keep me informed of all aspects of my property, In the four years that ive had my property rented with brookdale ive only had two days without a tenant. keep it up brookdale you are the best. ps any chance of opening a branch in spain we need agents like you!!!

GoogleI have had my property with Brookdale Property Management (BPM) now for almost 6 years. I live in South Africa and have had to rely on BPM to administer, manage and let my property in my absence. In my opinion BPM have done a first class job in screening tenants and ensuring a satisfactory hand-over at the end of each lease. When problems arise, BPM have had reliable contractors available at short notice and at reasonable rates. In this way, I feel that BPM have done what they can to maintain the value of my property. BPM have, in my opinion, also given sound advice with regards pricing my property during their appointment. I am more than happy to recommend them.

GoogleIf your renting expect a horrible tenancy going through Brookdale. They are the worst letting agent iv dealt with. There expectations of the house condition whilst your living there are beyond a joke to the point you think you not wanted in the house and begins to stress you out. They are very unprofessional with dealing with requests and lied to myself and my wife in regards to contacting the landlord for requests. They turn up for property expectations unannounced and they have the cheek to say "the oven needs a clean". Both myself and my wife are a professional couple and work full time and have never encountered such a terrible letting agent. If my dream house come on to the market with brookdale I wouldn't go through them as they are not worth the stress. All they seemed interested in was taking the £710 a month from my account.

GoogleBrookdale Property Management was the first Property Letting company that was chosen by me some two years ago. (after two failed sales fell through when we moved out of area). Their comprehensive explanations to the new Landlord, I found very, very thorough indeed. Follow-up DVD presentation was extremely precise to what the condition of my house has been left for future Tenants. I have continued to retain my original tenant and believe we both are satisfied with the standard contracts for letting of property and Brookdale Property Company. I get regular up-dates and landlord information/market trends reports which I find very useful indeed. There has to be a great deal of trust and respect given to the property. The letting agents are responsible for making sure that the right cost, tenant, maintenance providers are found for the landlords family home to remain affordable, comfortable, secure and a nice place for tenants to reside in for however long they stay.

GoogleBrookdale filled me with confidence from the first time I met them and read their brochure. I felt confident that they would find me good tenants. As a new landlord I was full of trepidation but my mind was put at rest. Their stringent checks paid off and they found me very good tenants who have been with me now for over 12 months, with no problems whatsoever. The worry of finding tenants and collecting rent has been taken away and it is worth every penny for that peace of mind.

GoogleThis will give you an idea of the service to expect, and why I rate this agency as poor. Doug at Brookdale personally invited me to make my comments known online, He assumed that I wanted to have nothing more to do with him, and cancelled my pre-arranged appointments to view advertised properties. This was merely because I returned his colleague Paul's call to view an alternate property (when three previous property visits were cancelled by him), and the alternate property was not available for my previously stated moving dates.

GoogleThis is my first time renting a property, and I could not have found a more professional or helpful agent then Brookdale. The outstanding maintenance issues that were in the property when I moved in, were dealt with immediately with no fuss or bother to me. Excellent service and I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale to anyone thinking of renting a property.
