GoogleMy partner and I were looking for a home to rent and we found a suitable option offered by Brookdale Property Management. They arranged the viewing for us very quickly. Then after the property viewing we sent them our application and received a good news on the same day. The application process went smoothly and we were explained every step of it in a very friendly yet professional manner. After moving in we had a moment with the gas meter cutting out because of a cold weather. We immediately reported to the agency and the maintenance team came within an hour. We were amazed on how fast they acted to solve the issue. Turned out it was something with the meter itself so we had to contact the Gas Supplier and the agency kept contacting us so we would update them on anything the Supplier wanted to do with the meter. For us it meant that they have high standards in keeping good records which is a great job they are doing. Their team is very kind, professional, organised and effectively communicate with each other and clients. GoogleI have been a tenant with Brookdale for nearly 3 years, they have been absolutely fantastic in all aspects, didn’t have any major issues on the property but the few ones that I come across we’re dealt with fast and efficient resolution plus the 6 months inspections they were absolutely crucial as it helps to maintain or improve the state of the property, the office staff is very polite and extremely helpful, thank you for an amazingly tenancy, 5 stars all around.

GoogleProfessional from start to finish. Having never using an agent before we wanted to use someone who has experience and specialises in purely lettings, not an agent who sells as well. Brookdale have been professional, swift and delivered on everything we wanted. With a main point of contact from start to finish its very easy to communicate as needed. It doesn’t matter if you have one property to rent or a portfolio, we can’t recommend them enough.

GoogleI would strongly advise caution with using this firm. My daughter and her boyfriend used these guys and it was clear from day 1 that their vested interest was the landlord not the tenant. Every single excuse was rolled out for work not being done. The flat was damp , so damp it ruined clothes and a mattress. Brookdale. In cahoots with the landlord, did nothing to fix it. Coming up with excuse after excuse after excuse. One piece of genius advice was to keep the windows open. The flat was on the ground floor and my daughter and her boyfriend work full time!!!!! Beilliant advice. Despite photos, emails and even me getting involved , nothing happened to help them out. All they did was try and bully a couple of kids trying to make their own way in the world. They are beyond contempt. Sorry but as far as I'm concerned these guys a scam artist's who were only ever interested in money. Never ever again. GoogleAs a landlord, I have this year placed a property with Brookdale. I have found them to be pro-active, contacting me when necessary on behalf of the tenants, making recommendations, keeping me within the law, responding quickly, finding a new tenant quickly and ensuring my property is well looked after. They arrange any remedial work required ensuring it is carried out speedily and at reasonable cost. They also pay promptly and Brookdale’s fees are not the cheapest but you tend to get what you pay for so I am happy to pay as long as the good service levels continue.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleVery helpful, completed background checks etc very quickly so we could get moved in as soon as possible. Just had our first inspection which was no problem at all. Previous tenants in our new property (before Brookdale took it over) apparently didn't care for the property and were evicted, so the landlord was understandably very cautious after having done a lot of work on the property. Brookdale asked to inspect our previous property before we moved and to inspect this one after two months to help put the landlord at ease. The requests were made in a reasonable manner and the reason explained, so it didn't feel like we were being put upon by the agency or the landlord. Having been in the new property with them for 2 months now and with our first inspection done, we have had an excellent service thus far. We haven't had to ask for any maintenance yet, so I can't comment on that process, nor the move out process (which hopefully won't happen for some time), but I have no reason to believe there will be any issues based on my experience so far as a new Tenant. We had a maintenance issue this week (electric oven issue). I popped into the office in the morning to report it, an electrician came round in the afternoon and sorted the issue, so I can't fault the response at all. So far, probably the best letting agency I have rented with.

GoogleI've rented two properties through Brookdale over the past four years, and they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. They are consummate professionals, looking after the interests of both tenant and landlord alike. Video inventories ensure all parties are protected, and I've only experienced immediate responses and resolutions whenever an issue has arisen, for example with heating failures or other unforseen issues; but these issues are few and far between due to the high calibre of the properties they have on their books. I can't recommend highly enough.

GoogleWhen my elderly mother moved into a nursing home she decided to let her semi-detached property in Peterborough, seeking advice from other house letters the name Brookdale Property Management regularly cropped up. Unlike Estate Agents who it seemed to me saw property management simply as an additional revenue stream at a time of slow house sales, Brookdale's business model was based exclusively on property management. From my first meeting with Brookdale's Mike Tomlinson it was obvious that the company ethos was that the route to a successful business was to do everything right - no compromises. Brookdale's advice on what work needed to be done to the property to attract suitable tenants and achieve best rental was spot on. Their potential tenant vetting procedure was thorough - and at the time seemed to me restrictive but they quickly identified excellent tenants who stayed in the property for over 5 years and left it as well presented as the day they moved in. When my wife and I decided to spend more time in Greece it was a no-brainer to ask Brookdale to manage the let of our family home in Peterborough. Once again Brookdale's advice on how to present the property was faultless as was their recommendation on suitable tenants. The property was quickly let to tenants who have only recently moved after 6 and a half years. Throughout the time Brookdale have managed these properties they have conducted regular inspections, advised on any improvement or remedial works required, advised on and implemented appropriate rent increases and responded swiftly to any emergency calls from the tenants. As a 'remote' landlord the comprehensive management service offered by Brookdale has been very important, Brookdale have managed all property repairs, from fixing a dripping tap to installing double glazing. Rental payments have always been made on time with Brookdale providing comprehensive monthly statements. I can't imagine attempting to manage these property lets direct and I would have no hesitation recommending Brookdale Property Management to any house owner seeking to let their property. Re-reading this review I fear that it may seem very gushing in its praise so I feel the need to add that I have no relationship with Brookdale or any of its employees
