GoogleExcellent help for me as a new landlord. Clear communication and lots of help provided - exceeded my expectations and is built on relationship. Their vetting procedures are much more extensive than other letting agents and the systems that support the whole process for landlords works very effectively.

GoogleHaving rented my property through Brookdale for 6 years I have never failed to be impressed with their proactive smoothly efficient service. From marketing, vetting tenants and regular inspection to organisation of any works required and efficient admin processes I have not been able to find any fault. They always respond quickly and with great courtesy. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

GoogleThese people are way too picky , family member rented short term now they are screwing them over to reduce the deposit. I would not recommend this company.

Thank you for your review Dawn, however as there is very little detail I can only presume you are talking about the final inspections we carry out. Our Landlords expect Tenants to show respect for their property and we need to ensure our final inspections are very thorough. All deposits are registered with the deposit schemes so it is impossible for agents to βscrewβ Tenants over as we cannot charge against deposits without their consent. We provide all Tenants with a video inventory before they move in and we also video the property when they vacate, so no deposit money is taken unfairly and it is always justified. We do our best to ensure Tenants get their deposit back by providing them with a video inventory, as well as carrying out a pre leaving inspection before the Tenants vacate, so we can advise them on what they would need to do to the property in order to get their deposit back in full. It is then the Tenants responsibility to leave the property in the same condition as they moved in. We do not gain anything as an agent by taking money from the deposit, as this money goes to contractors who fix the issues that Tenants may have left behind, it only wastes our time and of course it is not in our best interest to do so. In fact it is very disappointing, both for us and the Landlord, when Tenants are unable to leave the properties as they found them, and it makes our job much harder. At least our landlords who read this will be pleased to see that we do our job properly and make sure their properties are protected. Again, thank you for your review which gives us a chance to explain how well we do our final inspections.

GoogleBrookdale is run and staffed by a team of helpful, polite and highly skilled experts in the field of property letting. A most effective and efficient organisation with Mike, Dave, Richard and Julie at the helm. I have been with them for 17 years and they manage 15 of my properties in Peterborough. I would recommend then to both landlords and tenants.
