I have the highest praise for the work that Hogg and Hogg conducted on the sale of our house. It was an extremely challenging sale as we were 9th in a chain of 10. The Agent contacted all other agencies in the chain immediately upon our accepting the offer on our property and ensured that there was regular contact between all parties. I have no doubt that without the sterling work of Hogg and Hogg this chain would have collapsed. I highly recommend their services.

In short, Hogg and Hogg have been excellent every step of the way. We used them once before and we’d use them again in a hear-beat. I would thoroughly recommend them based on the 12 month journey we’re just about to finish. In August 2023 we saw a house that had just been delisted from Rightmove. We agreed a price with the vendors then had to quickly put our house on the market. Thanks to advice from Helen and Rhiannon and the superb selling skills of Ceri we sold our house for asking within a week. The photos Rhiannon took were superb and we were delighted and looking to move before Christmas. That’s when things started to get bumpy! Our buyers pulled out in December and so we had to relist and resell over Christmas. By the time we sold the onward chain had broken down so our sellers had to start again! Fast forward 8 months, 3 chains later and we’re about to exchange! Ceri has singled handedly managed both our buyers and sellers (they had no agent) and agents and solicitors up the chain. If it wasn’t for her I don’t know how this would have happened since solicitors and agents didn’t seem to know what was going on and didn’t appear proactive. Our buyers, sellers and we owe a lot to Ceri for her hard work over a number of months. She’s always been positive with a can-do attitude and we always felt in safe hands through the chaos. We used high and Hogg again (during all this) to sell another house of ours. Again, great photos, good advice and sold within a week. That one is going a lot more smoothly fortunately. If you’re looking for a great service, excellent value for money and a friendly and approachable company I cannot recommend them more highly. Which if you knew me, is saying something. I’d use them again without even thinking of going elsewhere but I won’t be moving house any time soon after this one!
