Every part of my experience with Hogg & Hogg in both a Purchase and Sale with and through them, from start to finish was fantastic. All of the staff are professional, respectful, kind, knowledgable, and honest. My situation was not a usual sale and purchase, specialist lending was needed with a fixed very short time scale to purchase and buy with and through Hogg and Hogg and also one of the properties was not the usual type. They made what seemed like an impossible outcome happen after many difficulties half way through from other people and organisations involved not Hogg & Hogg themselves. I really cannot recommend them enough, and have to give a special thanks to Ceri in the office who went out of her way to provide solutions when it seemed there was none available in the entire country. This was my first experience of selling a house which was daunting as it felt different to buying! The team at Hogg & Hogg made it a smooth process. From Helen visiting to value the house to Ceri then taking over the sale, explaining each step, answering any questions I had and communicating progress regularly. The whole team were incredibly supportive through a stressful time. If I ever popped into the branch it felt like everyone in the team knew about the sale, not just my agent. Hogg & Hogg have such a personable approach whilst remaining professional. We tried several estate agents in Cardiff before Hogg and Hogg came via personal recommendation to us; and they turned out to be excellent. We were selling my father's house after a traumatic time, and Helen and her team were empathetic, knowledgeable, insightful and hardworking. The house was marketed extremely well and sold swiftly. Communication was excellent throughout and we acted on all the excellent advice that we received, we made the house attractive to potential house-buyers, alongside being honest about the home's attributes. I am also confident that the house was bought by exactly the right type of buyer - it would have been a great choice of property for their family needs. Hogg and Hogg are an outstanding independent family owned estate agency, and provided an excellent service for our recent property sale. They fully justified our decision to trust an independent agency and stay away from the expensive, hard sell of the "corporates". The whole team were highly professional and helpful. From the moment we started looking for our new home, the team was just incredible so professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to help us. They made what could have been a stressful process feel so smooth and easy. We were so impressed that when it came to selling our house, we didn’t even think twice about who to call. We cannot thank Helen and Ceri enough for all their support through the sale and purchase of our new property From the onset we found Helen and Ceri to be extremely professional in the sale of our house. The brochure they produced showed off our house in the best possible light and showed considerable skill in photography. The house was sold very quickly and we were in a position to purchase the flat we have set our heart on. That is when the complications began to arise. Through both the sale and purchase we encountered considerable challenges partly due to the poor conveyancing we endured. Their patience and support went over and above anything we could have imagined and we became very stressed but their support was invaluable in helping us get through it. I have recently sold my house with Hogg and Hogg and have moved into my new property 2 weeks ago. I have never sold a house before and I began to experience all that was involved with trying to find a genuine, professional , customer focussed agency to manage my sale......trust me, up until then, it had not been a great journey. I've worked with the team at Hogg & Hogg both for renting and selling my house and they were incredible throughout both. While renting my property as I was abroad they handled absolutely everything, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Rhiannon walked me through the whole process and what I needed to sort out. They were quick to resolve any issues (even through covid!) and kept me updated throughout the couple of years. While selling I had the same experience. Helen came round and talked me through the process. Through a stressful enough time they were always on hand for advice and contact and extremely friendly across the whole team. Ceri particularly was excellent with keeping up to date towards the end of the process. They also weren't constantly trying to sell this product and that broker as lots of other agents were constantly - even after telling them again and again I was already using Hogg & Hogg! Not that it will be any time soon I hope, but when the time comes for the next move I'll definitely be getting in touch with H&H first!
