As you can imagine, selling and buying a house is very stressful. However, Darren put our mind at rest during the valuation process, and helped us fully understand the process of selling our home.
So much so, it was sold for the full asking price, after the first viewing within 48 hours of going on the market.
We were then kept in the loop of future properties coming to market, and subsequently purchased our new home with the guidance of Frank who was a pleasure throughout, again through Absolute.
In doing so, Kim the sales progressor was able to keep a guided eye and watch on the relevant sales, and was then able ensure the transaction was managed correctly when certain issues arose within the chain.
It is very refreshing to see a local independent Estate Agent taking pride in their service, and providing a proactive and efficient service throughout.
A pleasure to deal with, and would certainly want to use again and recommend to friends and family.

The Trusted AgentSelling a townhouse in Torquay
The speed of response by Absolute was excellent. The valuation was very quick and the house appeared on line in a very short space of time.
The house had lots of interest and Absolute were able to accommodate a large number of viewings.
However, after only a few viewings and a couple of low offers I did think that the agent was a bit quick to consider dropping the price, which led to a difference of opinion and from which I had to ask for a second point of view from another associate at the agent. I just felt that there was a race to a minimum price in order to achieve a sale.
A compromise was worked out and we achieved an acceptable sale price. Once the sale was agreed then Absolute assigned a dedicated agent to deal with the sale. This provided a useful point of contact during the sale, which was protracted by circumstances beyond our collective control. I felt that a little more could have been done to chase down information on the source of the delay to keep me in the loop.
Overall I was very satisfied with the service received. Some areas were excellent, while others were at minimum satisfactory and in the end I was happy with the support received.

So we have just brought a house with this estate agent. And due to sadly our journey not being the smoothest of rides (fraudulent hacked solicitors email and received our deposit money - luckily we got over half back and family raised us the rest) so it was a tricky situation. And I just wanted to praise how well and professional they coped with it all. It was very stressful and they always put me at ease, they were forever in contact in a way of help and support. I even had a very low point where I was literally crying down the phone and again they just calmed me down and we're just there for us throughout the whole ride. It wasn't just robot like 9-5 standards they had heart and they went above and beyond for useless much so I will miss then haha. Big shout outs to Kim, Debbie , Frank and the rest of the team from Torquay branch. Keep doing what your doing, it's being noticed!
