We chose Penny Sinclair (Summertown, Oxford) from a selection of three local estate agents. Our sale and subsequent purchase was handled very swiftly and efficiently. We found their staff very proactive, friendly and easy to contact. Though not something that is entirely within their control, they worked hard to negotiate completion before the end of the school summer holidays, for which we were very grateful. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

I can't recommend Lizanne enough, she really tries to understand what you are looking for and has a skill at putting the right buyer with the right seller at the right price. As a tenant in a property managed by Penny and Sinclair I have the following feedback;1. We made a complaint about black mould in the house 7 times over the course of 6 months. It was never dealt with, and we ended up leaving the property. - It was disgusting and had spread to three rooms!2. Penny and Sinclair were the property managers and were most certainly more on the 'side' of the landlord, and not the tenant.3. Other maintenance issues took months to get them solved. 4. Our assigned 'property manager' changed 4 times in the space of 14 months. (That tells me more about the company culture than anything else!)5. At the end of the tenancy, it has taken a month (and counting) to get the final documentation and we still haven't had our deposit released!Thinking of renting through Penny and Sinclair? - I would suggest you choose one of the other agencies in Oxford.

GoogleI am incredibly impressed by the speed, efficiency and professionalism of the service I received from the Summertown Office of Penny & Sinclair. Everyone I dealt with, from Sylvia (who showed me the property and assisted with the paperwork) to those I met when I picked up the keys has been wonderful. Moving into a new property is a stressful process, but Sylvia and her colleagues made it as smooth as it possibly could be. I recommend anyone looking to rent in Oxford to take advantage of Penny & Sinclair's services - you will be in experienced and safe hands.
