I have no doubt that this company needs to close. I suffered so many Rude, patronising and unreasonable comments. They are not professionals but torally unreliable ...do not use them at all. The government gave too much power to landlords. Enough is enough!

GoogleWe went with Knight Frank after struggling to sell our house with 2 other estate agents. We found Knight Frank to be very pro-active in following up on viewings and providing feedback and we got a sale in a couple of months. Follow through on the sale itself was also very pro-active and we have been very happy with the excellent service.

I'm really disappointed about that agency. They start making problems from the beginning. Can't properly take the record of the tenants and make wrong spelling on names, even when they got ID. Really poor respons on costumers needs even when you report maintenance issues. On 2 years living in property they couldn't fix thermostat from the beginning, cannot pick up letters for landlord, instead they only interested of inspection and to cheat you on the end. They try to charge you for some issues which have been reported from the start of letting. When I show them proof of issues then they start explaining the person who was dealing with it is already gone and they didn't have any record. Weird cause I have mine with them on email. Overall could not avoid take money from deposit, cause the really want to take something from tenants so they said - we gonna charge you for curtain poles. Those which wasn't damaged but taken down for cleaning. It was enough to fit them back which I told them. They said is to late because you surrendered keys from home and you need to be charged 60 £ for that pleasure. As a tenant can't recommend this agency but if you decided you need to be prepared they gonna charge you no matter what. One star note in my opinion is too good for them.

Worst agents I have ever rented through, total scam artists, wouldn't touch them with my own barge pole, never mind d anyone else's, refuse to give information out through fear of being caught out as liers , don't touch them you will regret it.

Birmingham office: forced me into breaching my contract by not fixing a broken exterior lock and making my property unsecured and then, at close of tenancy, tried to dock money for black mould around the bath (in an unventilated bathroom). Derby office: did a viewing and then when we said we absolutely wanted it, told us there were two other viewings and they would let us know… never did. How they are still trading never mind award winning is baffling. Avoid at all costs unless you like being mucked around by cowboys.

Rented from the Crawley branch for near 3 years, had multiple maintenance issues which werent addressed. Terrible mould issue that we contacted them about over the space of the 3 years and was never resolved. Constant issues with the garden that were again, never resolved. Have finally left the property which was left in a better condition than we received it (was professionally cleaned)and now they are trying to charge for professional cleaning services which there are legally NOT allowed to do anymore under the Tentant Fees Act 2019. Will definitely be disputing and cannot wait to be rid of the viles vultures!

Harry Sheppard looked after us throughout the whole process which, for various planning reasons, was more protracted and complex than we initially envisaged. It is largely down to Harry’s perseverance, charm, good sense and willingness to go the extra mile that we finally got over the finishing line. He developed excellent working relations with our buyers skilfully managing both sides’ expectations and his calm negotiating skills saw the challenging deal through to a successful conclusion. Harassed none stop by this company, from the moment I have moved in, until the moment I will leave. As mentioned below, they paint the houses, give it a fresh appeal to the eye. Within a few months of you moving in you can really see what damage the house is in. You dare to complain you will be issued a section 21, just before Christmas with disabilities. Most evil miserable rudest worst agency I ever dealt with. I am a human being, not your pay cheque !!!!! You treat people like a disgrace.

Literally the worst agency I have ever used and I lived in three countries, so that's saying something. They don't turn up to check if the inventory matches the reality, they ignore your emails when you complain, only extend your lease by 6 months, so they can bully you into two rent rises a year, even though the landlord knows nothing about it, so they blatantly lie and if you don't agree to pay more they issue you with the eviction notice. If you need to get anything done in the property you need to threaten them you'll report them to the relevant authority, otherwise they ignore you. They share your email address with hundreds of people which is against GDPR, they're late returning your deposit even though they have 10 days to do it. I can go on and on. Avoid like a plague. Not even worth 1 star.

Unfortunately today we was having an appointment for 2 bedroom house in Crawley (Broadfield), but no one from the letting agency did not come to represent and show the house. My lady called in the office and they said that somebody(agent) must be on the place, but at least nobody did not showed up. Called them a few times more, but did not get an answer anymore. We was waiting for that appointment 2 weeks and we was very excited, but now we are feeling so disappointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND this agency!!!

Absolute bunch a crooks. Invent reasons not to give your deposit back, keep rent that was overpayed. The 1st 10 years of my tenancy, I couldn't fault them, the last 5 years they were rude and unhelpful. Maybe they were taken over and got rid of all the good people. If you're thinking of renting from these cowboys, don't!

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Rented a house last year from the Heswall branch. It has put us off renting forever. A hole in the living room wall ignored, various other maintenance incidents removed without discussion, poor communication, took ages to fix electrical issue and forged paperwork (date of initial inspection incorrect) - probably because new law states they have to fix within set period of time. Tried to fob us off by saying it was when the decision was made, however we are not stupid. We improved the property by painting the blue hall a more neutral colour and changed the orange carpet similarly. Asked for a contribution after terrible service forced us to leave. We were told this had never even approved by the landlord (we received paperwork approving the work). We were granted permission to have a cat, then this was retracted. We were informed by a friend of the landlord that he had a special arrangement where he pays more for a 'no fuss' agreement. They regularly blamed the landlord for being slow to approve things and suggested he was difficult. Hard to know what to believe. The Director Joanne and husband seemed reasonable when we met and spoke to them, as did most of the other team. I just cannot fully put into words how horrendous this agent is from a renters perspective. Not really sure why we didn't deserve basic and decent customer service.

Well what can I say that has not been said, speaking as a landlord, can honestly say you can believe most of the horror stories below, started with the hastings office then seems that office closed all business transferred to eastbourne, meant to be a years contract to start with then see how they performed before going onto a longer one, all I can say thank allah did not start with a longer contract.Yes I am aware it was difficult times due to covid but not one inspection was done during the entire length of time their tenant was there, despite asking why not even a video walk through by there tenant, who was fast enough to ask for repairs to be done, northwood even had a gas safety done two months early on a new boiler I might add without telling us, then doing other work before checking it needed doing, then when the tenant finally leaves find they have changed a new floor failed to change any bulbs that have gone taken several of them with them, ruined a new carpet with cigarette burns left a load of rubbish..and had the audacity to offer a fraction of the cost needed to put right all the faults found after there tenant moved out also pretty sure that they failed to serve notice in time telling the tennant the contract was going to end after the 12 month period despite me telling them we were not renewing, hence the tennant stayed another six months, also know they failed to pay northwood the last months rent as I travelled down from nottingham to collect the keys only to find the tenant was still there and they submitted an email to northwood saying the could use the deposit as rent..
