If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never dealt with a more incompetent, outlaw-ish company before in my life. Over the course of a year and a half, Northwoods constantly let us down with poor maintenance and had no backbone when interacting with the landlord. If I listed everything they did wrong, this review would be longer then War and Peace, so save yourself the hassle and just stay well away from ever using Northwoods unless you like living in death trap accommodations and enjoy communicating with a bunch of morons.

While my experience with the staff at the agency was positive, upon leaving it was not, when you move in with them, they get you to sign about 75 photos of the condition of house, while not leaving you copies so that you could review there view of the house, upon leaving, i realised that they had used older photos showing the oven and other areas in the house, i went through cancer treatment while in the house, so didnt have people round or cook a lot, when i left me and my girlfriend, cleaned the house throughout, even buying a profesional oven cleaning kit, they told me they where keeping all the deposit and showed photos of an oven that i didnt get when i moved in, and some scratches on the wall, that my cat had done, easly fixed with some paint, but they decided to charge me £350 to fix this, if you use this company, make sure they give you a copy of the images you sign when you move in, if they havnt got them, go through each image and make sure there correct, i took them to a tribunal with the deposit scheme and won over half my deposit back £290, would not recomend you use them as if they will steal money from someone who was a model tennant ,paying on time every month, out of my savings, while sick, they will steal anyones money.

And there was Lady outside saying that We can't view (Very racist) and was discriminating against foreigners and children. She also said it was two bedroom and only one person can view. Thanks for understanding (I wouldn't recommend this agency as they are very rude towards people)

wouldn't recommend honestly, they don't mind coming in and out of your place even though you're paying rent and pretty much useless after you get the place.A lot of fake niceness where they're all nice with you in your face then they don't mind back stabbing you at the first chance they get.STAY AWAY.

disappointed and pointless

I have never been so disappointed and disgusted with a company, absolutely atrocious behaviour and lack of care, constantly fobbed off with lies and broken communication. Jackie I assume Jaqueline H couldn't be bothered to return calls that she promised, had to call back obviously she was unavailable to answer and never called back even now a week later. if you cannot communicate, then what is the point of your company? I am so very glad I do not use these jokers in business, I wouldn't recommend anybody to its a waste of time, money and stress even now the police and solicitors are involved they seem to have buried their heads well into the ground

Its difficult determining where to begin with this lot. My experience with them has been awful. Its been 10 months since I reported a problem with the boiler causing cold showers with intermittent periods of scalding hot water. Its still not fixed. I reported exterior flashing that had fallen some time ago allowing wasps to nest behind it. Their reply? I have to pay to have the wasps exterminated before they'll repair the flashing. Still not fixed. They've tried to charge me for a vendor's service call simply because they couldn't figure out why the electrics weren't working properly - they figured it must be my fault. Still not fixed. I reported that water was leaking from an outside pipe connected to the boiler. Still not fixed. I reported a leak in an interior water pipe. Miraculously, its been fixed, but they'll likely do nothing about the ugly stain left on the dining room wall or look into potential mold remediation. Based on my experience, a better name for this agency is Northwouldn't.Update: Shortly after posting this review Northwouldn't sent me an eviction notice.

The worst agency I have ever been with. They lie about the flat, the inventory and try to scam me of money at the end. I had to leave the flat after 1 month, thats how bad they are. Also had to call the Citizen Service Bureau about them. Extremely bad services unhelpful and unwilling to take any responsibility of their faults. Not the award winning experience, all lies, DO NOT GO WITH THEM!

Knight Frank provided a highly professional, friendly and competent service when we recently needed to sell my mum's house in North Oxford. They achieved what I am sure was the best price attainable and in a short time. The commission rate was competitive especially for an International firm of this stature. Good initial advice was given by the partner William and once marketing had started our main contact was Sam, who was most helpful and competent. I would also add that Knight Frank acted for my brother-in -law on a similar executor sale and achieved very good results.

So unprofessional and dangerous for health

Damp and mould issues never dealt with! They just painted over mould with paint before we moved in and charged us over £300 for wear and tear when we left.We had no heating for almost a year including winter 2020.Every issue was always answered with ‘but everything is slowed down due to COVID (we were having issues before the pandemic began). Staff sound lovely but will send you passive aggressive emails when you complain.

Northwoods are totally useless!!!!

Absolutely useless letting agents!!!!!Just want to take your money but very poor customer service. Get you in so fast you can't find out what is wrong with the house and that the house hasn't even got a TV aerial or washing line and you are expected to install it yourself out of your own pocket.We even had to pay extra deposit for our tortoise who weighed 150g who never left his inside rabbit cage, did they think he was going to destroy the house???????Upon leaving they expected us to be at their beck and call to show people around. The landlady wanted the carpets to be professionally cleaned and house to painted and cleaned, this all costed us nearly half of our deposit and looked better than when we moved in.Northwoods called us to tell us that we had mail and a few days earlier I had arranged for redirection of post. They told me they would pop it back in the post. After calling serveral times found out they had witten on all mail 'Return to Sender' and all of the mail has returned to the orginal sender and not to us!!!! They are very incompetent and I would never use their services again if I needed to use them.

I wish I could give negative stars

I wish I could give negative stars. The WORST service we have ever had in our lives. The owner (Chris) even refused to talk to us or remove the unedible burger from our bill. I have been a regular for 10+ years. Sadly, i will NEVER return. I have never been treated worse by a server and owner. They swore at us even though THEY were in the wrong!!!! Absolutely awful!!!!
