GoogleWorked with Dean Smith to find a home for myself and three friends. He got us the most incredible newly upgraded four bedroom in a great location and even managed to negotiate a few additions to the house. GoogleI would give them 0 stars if I could. I use their property management service and they are the worst! Don’t attend to issues till last minute which means we have to pay a huge premium to get things done fast. They never answer to calls and are totally indifferent towards the landlord and tenants alike. No one has bothered to form a relationship which just makes me feel unvalued as a client. Also, the accounting is not transparent. Every month I see a major cut in my rental income. Do not use chancellors!

FacebookBrilliant service across the board. In particular Rachel Axton at Thameside has been more than helpful on a number of occasions and I cannot compliment her work ethic enough. She does indeed go the extra mile to make sure the job is done. In my own experience, things are nearly never straightforward, however Rachel has always made sure that everything is organised and try her very best to make sure the outcome suits everyone.

GoogleIt takes ages to respond to maintenance requests. They say ignore ignore ignore until the tenant gives up. Worst real estate agent in town. Thanks god I will be in Oxford for less than a year. Updates: what they have done in the last week proves my review was TRUE. The did nothing. They just sent someone to buy time and then did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This is for just minor requests. FAILURE. Update: they did fix the issues but took them too long.

Recently Rachel Axton has provided me with excellent customer service as I have now vacated the property. GoogleAvoid avoid avoid. People are extremely rude here!!! We travelled for more than half an hour to get the property for a viewing and waited for 25 mins and no one was here. Called them, they said they will ask, no reply. Called again they …

GoogleWe sold our flat with Chancellors after a very rocky start with Anthony who undervalued our property by around 40k compared to the other 5 valuations we had (due to him seemingly having not done any research on the property and previous sold prices). Anthony soon told us he'd found a perfect buyer willing to offer at the same level as the other valuers had suggested. We agreed to go with Chancellors for this reason, but the buyer never materialised (which we were told by others often happens with Chancellors). Luckily we did soon find buyers who were willing to offer at this value. After accepting the offer, we were transferred to work with Emily Dinmore who was completely fantastic. She was so organised, efficient and friendly. She really went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. Even when she was on leave she made appropriate plans for others to fill in and our contact was seamless. Thank you Emily!

GoogleI really don't get how this agency is still in business. My experience with them was pretty bad, especially with maintenance and the way they treated me. I've also heard a bunch of negative things from others who've dealt with them. They were the first letting agency I used in Oxford, and for a while, I thought all agencies here were going to be just as bad. But after I moved to a different agency because I was unhappy with their service, things turned around, and I had a much better experience.
