We have so far had a great experience with Chancellors. Jack Williams has been incredibly helpful in getting our offer accepted. His replies were promt (often within the hour) and he even was able to pass on messages during the recent May bank holiday, which was much appreciated. A few years ago, I posted this review: "Ciara was so so helpful and totally understanding when we were struggling with the house-buying process. She went out of her way to get answers to our questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks!" Unfortunately, this year we have had the worst time with Chancellors. They have repeatedly badgered us to do business with them, despite repeated requests to leave us alone. They shared our contact details among several different offices, but failed to let them know we wanted removing from their contact lists when we said so.

I would like to thank the team at Chancellors for their fantastic support selling my property in Littlemore, I can't recommend them enough. From Ella's well timed check-in call in March when I was toying with the idea of selling, to Alex's valuation, getting it on the market and completing the sale in 2 months, the whole process has been a whirlwind and they've been there to talk me through every step. They had a good pipeline of potential buyers lined up before the house even went online, and the speed of my sale shows how good they are connecting the right buyers to the right house. I was super worried due to the complexities of viewing during covid and house cats but Ella was fab, she put my mind at ease and was really respectful on visits. That coupled with her excellent customer service, she's a real asset to Chancellors. Alex was more than fab too. We have recently had our offer accepted on a house in East Oxford. Our agent, Ella (Ellanor) was fantastic throughout the process. She alerted us to properties that suited our requirements, she was efficient, friendly and helpful throughout. Ella went beyond that process and also helped to arrange further viewings with the seller so that we could familiarise ourselves with things that would require attention and start planning our move. Based on our experience we can highly recommend Ella as a super agent to work with.

I could not recommend a letting agency less

I could not recommend a letting agency any less. It is not clear to me that anyone at Chancellors understands the seriousness of being responsible for people's housing and how stressful the letting process can be. They simply do not care at all about tenants and will treat you quite hostilely.

We then had Eleanor Jones as our main contact during the selling process and cannot praise her enough for her professional and honest attitude during the whole process. We were communicated to on every aspect and if Eleanor was unavailable she would ensure Jame's or George kept us up to date. I was looking for a small rental property in Oxford and was keen to move to the area. When I contacted Chancellors I spoke to Jordan, he was extremely helpful, honest, and provided lots of useful advice about the properties they had for rent, and other general information about the area. In the end I actually ended up renting a property through another agent as Chancellors didn't have what I was looking for at the time. This aside, as the overall customer experience from Jordan was so good, I felt it was necessary to leave a positive review.
