Chancellors helped me to buy an investment property in November. During the refurbishment of the flat Declan organised an Open House viewing so that when the work was complete we could have a tenancy agreement in place straight away. This generated a lot of interest and several potential tenants attended. This resulted in us having 3 viable offers from which to choose, one for more than the asking price/rent. Our new tenants moved in a few days later on completion of checks etc. Communication was excellent throughout and Declan made sure that we were kept in the loop at all times. We could not have turned it round any quicker if we tried. Well done Declan and all the team at Chancellors for an excellent job!

We have just received first class service from the team at Chancellors, and can highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell in the area. From day 1, James and Ollie have been efficient, polite, helpful and honest with us. Their marketing strategy worked perfectly and our house was sold within 2 weeks of going on the market. They, along with Sebina kept on top of the sale at every stage, keeping us in the loop and liaising with both sets of solicitors, as well as the buyer. We can honestly say we have had a very stress free sale thanks to them. Well and truly earned their money. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

My friend and I were very pleased with the service that we received from Chancellors, we were looking for a 2 bed place, which Joel went the extra mile to help us find. He updated us with properties as soon as they came in, presented excellent communication, so that we were part of the first group of people viewing the properties. Even with challenging customers, he was able to answer all of our questions, and we found that we left the property knowing our decision and that Joel had our best interests at heart. We were are pleased to say that we are now settled in the perfect property that Joel found for us, even though he had some picky clients, I think you have to be, if you plan to stay long term in one place. Honestly we can’t thank Joel enough! We are very happy in our new place.

My letting process has not been so straigthtforward. Nevertheless, the "human factor" does play a paramount role even in the difficult moments. My experience with Chancellors was not a good one. I was given one person only who was dealing with me, in my case Joe Brayne; and, when he was not available, I was given someone who had no idea where anything in the property was! Joe himself knew little about the house, such as when it was built, council tax band and so on.... Throughout the whole process, I got the feeling that I was more of a burden than a valued customer worthy of attention; and that the resulting pay cheque at the end of it all was his only goal. There were several situations that also gave rise to me suspecting that things were not being related to me accurately, or being related to the vendor accurately from me; i.e. I ended up not really trusting what I was being told. I don't know how much point there is to me writing this, as Chancellors only seem to have posted the positive comments they have received. However, my experience with them reflected perfectly the poor reputation that estate agents hold with many. Just binning the "Congratulations on your completion....' letter, as if to round off what I have been saying, I notice that my name is spelt wrong......this, after months of involvement with this company.

After registering with Chancellors as home buyers, we’ve been contacted by Leo Furnivall who was very friendly, professional and assertive. In spite of working office hours we had the opportunity to visit few properties with him, as Leo is a well-organised individual and a very good communicator. I had received a research leave from my university and would be staying as visiting scholar in Oxford. So me and wife were looking for a furnished house to rent for a year. This was not easy. Because we have four children finding suitable accommodation was a challenge. I contacted 14 real estate agents. Some were more helpfull than others. But two really stood far above all others. Of these Chancellors, represented for us by Mr. Newman was truly superb. His helpfullness and initiative were outstanding. Altough in the end we ended up with a house not managed by Chancellors (for reasons of proximity to schools, size and price), I still feel happy to have the occasion here to warmly recommend Chancellors (and Mr. Newman) to all prospective clients.
