Just successfully sold a house through Breckon & Breckon for a higher price than other agents estimated. We had offers within days of going live, thanks to their excellent photos, website and brochure. There were some delays and setbacks but Luke's communication and advice were always excellent, backed up by other team members. Great local knowledge, very professional service and responsive to our wishes. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately we rented a property from B&B. Once we left the property the estate agents held back our deposit. They did not thoroughly check the inventory checking in report against the check out report which resulted in us going to a dispute (the adjudicator mostly supported us. Some of the dispute amount was for items that we had complained about when we moved in and were never dealt with throughout the tenancy! They were also shown on the inventory as issues. To then charge us was unacceptable. 1. They tried to charge us a extortionate amount for cleaning even though the property was cleaned to a professional standard. 2. They quoted clauses that didn’t exist in the tenancy agreement to support their claims 3. They tried to charge us for the fire blanket which was attached to the wall! This caused us a lot of frustration and we ended up out of pocket. Terrible service!

We had a deeply frustrating experience with this agency. The property was advertised with a move-in date of 30th July, which was then pushed back multiple times without clear explanation. We arranged a van and cancelled a holiday based on the original date, only to be told much later that the earliest possible move-in would be 22nd August. Communication was inconsistent, and we were given little confidence in the timelines provided. Would not recommend based on this experience.

A very successful and professional company .But …….unfortunately they have a person who is very bad at dealing with customers and is not good at his job. I feel sorry that good company does employs this type of employee. They must be trained first on how to deal with customers. , I advise all people if they have problems to choose right person who can talk to. I hope that the decision-makers take this matter seriously, because this bad treatment by some people with customers is not a good thing for the company.

For anyone wishing to rent with Breckon and Breckon - I would strongly encourage you to take videos/photos of your entire property before you move in. Even places that you wouldn’t think of - ie. door frames, inside cupboards, any tiny little mark, EVERYTHING! Breckon and Breckon tried to take our deposit for marks that were already there in check in but claimed they would have been picked up by the company that do the inventory (I proved this wasn’t true) and charged ridiculous amounts of money for the marks which I know they will do nothing about given the state of the place when we moved in from the previous tenant.

Amazing experience. I bought a new flat with Breackon & Breackon. The process was smooth without any surprises. The staff is well aware of all the details and what is needed to make it easy and peaceful for you. I never had a delayed answer and they solve all of the issues during the process. Through the process the case manager changed and I was worried about gaps in the handover but they've done such a wonderful job that I didn't even notice the change of the case manager. Update 2: The washer died on me and it was replaced with a washer/dyer (so that solved the dryer situation). Moreover, the agency took precautions about the covid-19 before the government did, so that was good! Update: Overall I am happy with the experience with the agency. However my unit was advertised as having access to a dryer and parking but when I moved in there was access to neither. Maybe its specific to my unit but make sure the amenities advertised are actually provided. This agency is way more functional and friendly than my previous agency (NOPS). When I picked the key the person was very friendly, received me with a tea and explained everything in detail. They were kind to let me be inside of the building -after closing time- to wait for a cab. The flat was in good condition when I moved in. A couple of days after moving, they called me to check if everything was in good working order, which it was (It´s good I don´t have to chase them around and they actually call to see if things are good). Also they will be returning my application fees since now there is a fee ban. So far the experience has been great.
