GoogleRecently sold our property through Balgores Hayes. Really pleased with the service - Both Paul and Billy maintained good communication with us and kept us updated throughout the whole process. They were always available and responded quickly to queries we had and where necessary, chasing up any issues with the sales ‘chain’. Would recommend their services.

Balgores Property ROMFORDNot even a one star!!!!!Awful service from the moment we started our rent agreement.Before we started our agreement they were after us almost everyday making sure that all the paper work was in order. Very helpful. But all changed once we moved. We had problems with the hot water tank and the kitchen floor MAINLY since DAY ONE.We didn't have hot water on the daily basis for almost a month an a half, and my daughter tripped on the kitchen floor few times already!! Very slow communication, sometimes they will take 10 days to respond to my email. And when they finally respond they are not even specific to the updates or you find out that they didn't contact anybody yet and they are asking you for more details, when they supposed to come already when an outcome!!!The service standards are horrible... And we are being waitting for compensation for a month already and the property manager that has been "dealing" with our department and all the issues just responded today saying that he is in annual leave and he will not come back till next week!!!!!! So basically he left without resolving our issues!!!! To be honest I don't think is fair that the landlords will gave us a compensation for the EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE OF THE PROPERTY MANAGER HIMSELF!!! The compensation should come from the agency itself!!!

Appalling lack of interest and service. Do not have any idea how to manage property, on either the landlord or tenant side, or how to provide a professional service. Do not read emails, or communicate effectively within their team, or with their client and make no effort whatsoever. Extremely disappointing.

My property was on the market for a long time and I reduced the price a couple of times under the guidance of Charlie at Balgores in Hornchurch. It worked because it eventually sold. They handles all the viewings and I was kept up to date with feedback. Would definitely recommend.

I recently sold my property through Balgores Basildon. What an amazing bunch of people. From Daniel, Josh and Niall in sales who sold my house in 10 days for a good price, to Sarah in after sales. What an asset this young lady is. She always called me back same day, was extremely helpful and kept it together when we had a last minute issue which my solicitor caused. Thank you all. Bought my first property through Balgores and was pretty terrible from start to finish. I had 4 viewings with them before picking my purchase property and the agents were late and uninformed on every viewing. On one viewing, the agent Ross did not even know how to get out of the property. I would not have picked my property if the seller was not present on the viewing, as the agents knew nothing and the seller had to answer all my questions. Sean insisted I pay for the private survey in order for them to take the property off the market, which it then took them over a week, and pressure from my solicitors to do so. Dealing with them throughout the coronavirus pandemic, they showed little to no care for this or personal circumstances due to this. Once completed, the agents also did not even get the keys correctly so on my completion day (which should have been celebratory) I could not even access the property. Avoid at all costs if possible.

Ross from the Wickford office was fantastic throughout the whole purchase/sale process. Never an issue to speak to him at any point. Sarah from the sales progression team at the Basildon branch was also fantastic, supported us through a very complicated sale process and multiple issues with our buyer, she was always chasing the solicitors to keep things moving forward. Would not consider using anyone else in the future.

He valued properties for me during the first lockdown by providing adequate and extensive comparables based on past sales. He also managed to market properties and administer sales in extremely difficult circumstances. Richard and his Team provide a professional service that is second to none.

Said the sale of our flat would complete in 8 - 12 weeks, but took nearly 6 months - even though we had an immediate offer. Very poor communication from Jason, didn't ring back when he said he would and didn't keep us informed of what was going on even when things seemed to be going wrong. Didn't inform us that we would need a Gas Safe certificate and an electrical certificate which the buyer's solicitor requested 2 weeks before the exchange date. Added unnecessary stress to the sale as we had to find companies that could do the tests urgently and added hundreds of pounds to our cost of sale.

I am very disappointed and discouraged to buy a property after I paid £499 for simply conveying solicitors and also £500 paid for the broker. I am NHS employee saved the money paid £1000 and waited about 4 months to get my property finally I am informed that the developer asked more £10000. The broker promised won’t charge me for the next property but they are not responding when I call.

LANDLORDS & TENANTS AVOID THIS COMPANY If you are looking for a company to manage your property or a property to live in do yourself a favour and avoid this company like the plague. Their property management is non existent and it will cause you more issues than it solves. The Brentwood sales office are full of smiles and promises but they are totally incompetent and have serious issues with performing the most basic property management services.

Sarah definitely went above and beyond to help, and actually did more than our useless solicitors, she reduced our stress by obtaining and sending documents that the solicitors should have done themselves. The team was professional and organized, we sorted initial things quite quickly. But being in a chain buy a was absolutely nightmare for us as first time buyers, as we didn’t know what to expect and when the sale will actually finalize. At this aspect we didn’t get the support that we expected from the estate agents, that would be the minus in this experience. Overall the experience was positive and we learned a lot in the process. We do recommend this estate agency to other, because the team is energetic, young and willing to improve its service.

BOBBI SCOTT.Vile woman.Left a tenant without a heater in the bedroom for over 7 months!! It took for me to email Daniel Hanks and Martin Gibbon to get something done.However, how ironically, it has taken Bobbi Scott over 10 months to get a quote (via photos and not even a visit) for mould.If this is what you call customer service then you need a reality check.Complaint going to the property ombudsman.

We dealt with Balgores property to rent a house. Our agent was polite and knew her job. However we did not like our experience of their consulting agency ( Goodlord)for referencing as we felt that there was a lot of unnecessary mistakes and also it took too long for getting everything sorted. Overall our one to one experience with our estate agent was fine except their referencing agency that was appalling.

Was told our buyer was in a chain of two with a first time buyer buying the property from our buyers and to take the offer (even though it was less than we wanted it) as it would be stress free - turned out there were approx 6 in the chain the first time buyer was one minute buying for a family member then we were told it was an an investor before finding out it was a builder who bought properties to do up - the whole process was an absolute nightmare and went on for over 7 months... the only saving grace was the negotiator that kept the chain from collapsing at least 3 times... I would get it in writing how many are ACTUALLY in the chain before agreeing to offers!

My experience with estate agents over the years whilst running a mortgage broker business had left me dreading the thought of using one when the time came to sell my own property. Fortunately the team at Balgores are not just estate agents, they are dedicated, professional and efficient business people. The result of this is the house sold within 10 days at the price I wanted to achieve and they also took over the sale of our purchasers from an ordinary agent and sold their home even quicker. Thank you to all of the team at Balgores Chelmsford. I would recommend these guys every time and would not hesitate to use their brilliant service again in the future.
