Landlords, Tenants please avoid if you can. Balgores from Loughton and Brentwood are just waste of your time. They are very unprofessional and do not respect you. Starting from the receptionist who is rude and never passes messages or hangs up on you, and finishing on the Property Manager named Daniela Troon who never replies to the emails. Unfortunately to resolve the issue I needed to take a matter to the Property Ombudstman and TDS. I am so glad I do not have to deal with Balgores ever again.

They say that moving house is one of the most stressful things that you can do and we can attest to that with this move! However, if it wasn't for the persistence and efforts from Blagores in Brentwood I'm not sure whether we would have got moved at all. They managed the chain well and it felt at times that things were only progressing because the guys at Balgores were going above and beyond.Massive thanks and would definitely recommend.

What can I say.....truly brilliant experience!!! From the moment I was in contact with Reece and Charisse, their professionalism, efficiency and communication throughout was exceptional. Excellent telephone manner and always on hand to answer my questions. I was always kept abreast of developments with regards to the progress and eventual viewing of the property. I was not disappointed when I eventually saw it. So far, the process has been made less stressful and painfree - all issues associated with moving home. Email communications all done in a timely manner. I have now had the pleasure to meet another member of staff Henry. Henry's telephone manner was professional and his knowledge of the area is second to none describing various key amenities i.e. leisure attractions etc etc - all very helpful to one moving into a new area. I cannot say enough about Reece, Charisse and Henry - all great assets to Balgores Property and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to rent or purchase their home. Well done Team Balgores and keep up the sterling work !!!!

Balgores Chelmsford.Very bad agency. Don't rent property from them. You never gonna reach them on the phone. They never keep promises. When you have issues with property they don't answer,but if don't pay rent on time sent millions of emails.

AVOID AVOID AVOIDPlease do not be fooled by any of the good reviews about Balgores Hayes Brentwood. We rented a property from them two years ago and had serious issues with the property including severe leaks and damp which we informed them of multiple times in writing however property managment never did anything to resolve the issue OR even inform the landlord. It was because of this we left the property and vacated in August 2020 towards the end of our tenancy which we paid for until the end of our contract. It is now December and we still have not received our deposit back which equates to around £2000. After chasing them every couple of weeks we were never directly told about a dispute our landlord had regarding the issues of the leaks and the damage it left the property it, only in a brief phone conversation in November months after chasing back our deposit. Oddly all of my emails relating to the issues had never been passed on to the landlord and the property management team had left the property to rot. All of this and not to mention Brentwood lettings manager attempted to blackmail me over email to get me moved out of the three bedroom property in ONE WEEK during the pandemic due to finding a new Tennant that he was scared to lose and told me if I didn't the potential new Tennant would be devastated and homeless when I said it wouldn't be feasible as a family with a young child and no support whilst in lockdown to which he became rude and aggressive. He also refuses to acknowledge any part of his responsibility in helping tenants and when I called him out of desperation when having an enormous leak in the house his words were ''what do you want me to do about it''. The list goes on and on with the no returned phone calls or emails and still I have no deposit back. Please do not deal with this company ever, they cannot be trusted.As for the property management team they are also part of the ''cant do'' culture and will not call you back or have a defensive attitude and make you believe you are the problem when they do not do a single thing. Im now reporting internally to the property ombudsman to try and obtain my money back.

We have nothing but praise for all the team at Balgores. Over the past few years we have tried to sell our home with other agents to no avail so we thought we would give Balgores a go.We had between 25 and 30 viewers over for weeks and ended up with three potential buyers and a bidding war between two of them.However, that's when Balgores hard work started. We accepted an offer from one of the bidders and were in a chain of six, in the middle of the pandemic with stricter lockdowns on the horizon. The chain almost collapsed when one of the houses in the chain was significantly revalued. Throw in a couple of completely incompetent solicitors and difficulty finding removal companies and, overall, it was very stressful and difficult process.From engaging Balgores to sell the house right through to 'moving day' all the team were extremely polite, hardworking and professional. Many many thanks to everyone at Balgores who we would certainly recommend

I bought a lovely 3 bed semi with my partner. We wanted a home which was close to everything we needed with a fairly big garden for our 3 dogs and parking for 2 cars. Curtis at Balgores was ever so helpful from start to finish, He was available to talk at any point during the day, I know this as I had a panic moment about the price and called him at 8:30pm at home and he was happy to hear from us and gave us all the help and advice we needed. His team at Balgores kept us in the loop with updates about every step of the buying process, something that we’ve not received when using other estate agents in the past. If I look to ever sell my home, il definitely be looking to use Balgores as my agent as I was so impressed with the service.

Balgores Romford, sold my new development in Essex. Presented superb photos and a very detailed and comprehensive description. Marketed on numerous advertising avenues. Took control of the whole process from start to finish and didnt have to worry about anything. The paperwork trail was all issued as and when things happened, from viewings, offers, declined offers, agreed offers, contracts issued, exchanges and completions. And throughout the conveyancing process, chased all the relevant parties to make sure the sale didnt delay. I could not recommend them more, excellent agents.

Well where do we start. Our purchase took over 5 months to complete BUT this was not the fault of Balgores. Indeed Balgores worked hard to try and get the solicitors to engage and get things moving and were our supporting rock throughout. I must mention Sarah Oakley at Basildon who was superb and kept us sane throughout the process. So would I use them again .. yes if I needed to I would.

Got a time for a viewing 1 bed flat, and less then one hour before viewing the flat,got message that it’s canceled, no explination,nothing, we been coming from kinda of far to check that flat and we was so exited, and on our way we just got a text ,that they cancel our viewing... Tried to call and get an explination, but we got the same text again that it’s canceled... Honestly so unprofesionall, saw alot of bad reviews about this agency, couldn’t believe they actually such unprofesional people. AVOID agency’s like that... Nothing cost to answer the phone and explain situation...Honestly wouldn’t give even 1 star if would have an option.

We unfortunately chose Balgores Hayes Brentwood to manage our property when moving overseas. The property management service used to be 'managed' in their Brentwood Office and is now 'managed' through their Dagenham office. When the property was 'managed' through Brentwood the service was pretty bad and the tenants complained about their lack of attention and not responding to issues. After they moved property management to Dagenham it got even worse we now have a range of issues that nightmares are made of. We don't usually complain about services but they are sooooo bad it is impossible not to. We like to be positive and the one positive thing I can think of is that they seemed very nice and responsive when we originally signed the contracts and at the time we 100% believed that they would provide a good service. It went downhill from there ......Note we have friends that have also used Balgores Hayes to 'manage' investment properties and unfortunately they have had bad experiences with them too so unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a one-off.

The worst agency services regarding lettings on the market. We recently rented a house through Balgores agency, dealing with two ladies Toni Jones and Katrina. When we saw the property they assured us, the agency will make sure everything will be in perfect condition and in working order for us to move in. And also they will carry out all the health and safety checks, to make sure the house is ready to be rented. We were also promised a deep cleaning of the property. All this mentioned above, did not happen. This two ladies are are the most despicable liars. When we received the keys, we discovered that the electricity meter is faulty and also the electrical fuse was faulty and a danger to the house. The downstairs toilet was faulty, when you flushed the toilet water was coming out underneath, the backdoor was broken, could not be locked, the thermostat was not working, the owen was not working and the smoke alarms are not working either, also the radiator in the bathroom was broken and leaking badly. We think they just paid someone to sign their safety checks, so they can rent out the house as soon as possible and to get their commission. We intend to act legally against this despicable and discriminatory behaviour. Just because we are Romanians it doesn't mean we can be treated like this. It's a pity I can't upload pictures of the state of the property.

Fantastic service from start to finish.Allannah at the Chelmsford branch dealt with our sale and was incredibly professional and friendly throughout.The rest of the team who helped out in between were brilliant. Even the little things, like printing off important documents, because we didn't have access to a printer was so helpful when everything is so stressful.After we accepted, our property was handed over to Sarah, who kept on top of the solicitors and mortgage brokers. Without Sarah, I have no doubt that our sale would of been delayed. Balgores are extremely proficient at what they do and I would recommend their services to anyone.

Just like one of the reviewers here said, one star is too many for these lying cheating self serving +×=£*¥£&. If anyone is even THINKING of using these absolute unprofessional useless fraudsters then I would suggest you think again. I was in the process of trying to purchase a property with them and they (what EVERY other estate agent is calling malpractice to be taken action against) suggested a decision in principal ( in principal meaning they do a FULL credit search on you leaving a mark on your record before you even see a property) is necessary to view a property which they had actually already sold but still kept the property on the market and continuing to book viewings with people when they had already sealed a deal. They don't phone or email you back once they know you are fully using their "services". Their communication is very poor and they are a bunch of liars just out to serve themselves. DO NOT USE THEM!

GoogleMy husband and I were looking for a home since February 2019. Within days of meeting Billy, he suggested seeing the home we now live in!! We had excellent service from Billy, and we had an extraordinarily quick exchange! Just six weeks from offer to exchange! We genuinely really appreciated all his help and support whilst he ensured a very smooth transition (including completion). He was able to answer all our questions, but if he didn't know the answer, he would go and find out and get it back very quickly. We very much recommend using his services.
