Each auction list full of already sold plots. normally half of the list is already stamped as sold so no point in saying you have x plots available when half are not.Fees are very high at around 8000 on top to be paid on each plot.The auctioneer is so slow and very monotone and boring to watch.Difficult to get through on phone as it constantly rings out and goes to answer service.Still no staff in the office and it looks closed down from outside and still using covid as excuse.Lady I finally spoke to was very helpful in the end though.

We sell properties 24/7, 365 days a year, so there’ll always be a number that sell before the live-streamed auction each month. In terms of our fees, these are always set out for any bidders, in full before the auction begins and vary depending on the type of sale. Very poor communication I purchased a property from them, they charged a ridiculous buyer fee of 6k it’s a scam “the variable” fee is!! Took my money left me to deal with the sale turns out they and the buyer failed to notify me that the property has a enforcement notice on it, it takes the local authority 6-8 weeks to respond to the enquiries and they know this that’s why they say make your own enquiries and complete sale in 20 days they take their fees and deposit and that’s it they no longer are interested in you or the property and won’t bother to even respond to you, only time they are quicker than a formula 1 car in contacting you is to take their own fees, no customer service at all, will never uses this rip off merchants again AVOID they say check legal packs not everything is in the legal pack!!! They offload bad properties with legal issues and they are very clever at it

I’ve only had dealings with this company for two weeks, poor is an understatement,appointments not kept, emails not replied too and promised phone calls not recieved then the day before auction the property sold prior to auction. Can’t see myself using this company in any future purchases.UPDATE, re your response , no confusion on my part I adhered to the set time set via email, next booking only sorted as I phoned yourselves,no missed calls on my phone I’ve checked my log, stated property going to auction only it never did sold prior, I’ve used your competitors who have been very professional my dealings with yourselves EXTREMELY POOR.

We had never sold at auction before, and all the staff at sdl were very helpful, patiently explaining the process as we went through. Unfortunately, we did not get a sale in the first auction, but were then contacted by Sam Rashid who gave us excellent advice on what to do for the next auction, and it worked and we got a sale yesterday. Sdl staff kept us informed without prompting throughout the process and our auctioneer was excellent (Andew). Thanks to you all!

From start to finish SLD were fantastic. Me and my brothers had never used an auction before but once our estate agents intrduced us to SLD we were sold. They sent someone to the property the same day as we phoned them he came and explained how it works,gave us a price outline of our property which we followed. TrustpilotGood in parts but a sting in the tail
We were recommended to use SDL by our Estate agent as our property was not receiving much interest. Initially SDL were very good but this did not last. Our property was withdrawn from auction by SDL on 3 occasions due to lack of registered bidders. It is not clear in the Auction pack that this could happen. I should point out that this was an on line auction. We eventually removed the property from sale by them and our eventual buyer came via our original Agent. We were still charged a £7500 auction fee, which is inline with the contract but seems a bit rich given the fact that they had failed to find a buyer.
We’re disappointed to receive your review of your experience with us, however we’re pleased to see your property has sold. We’re not sure which specific property your comment relates to so we cannot comment on specifics to your sale. However, we record and communicate with all interested parties for all the properties we have for sale. Unfortunately, sometimes we do not receive any registered bidders and in those circumstances we withdraw the property and discuss options with the seller. We’re sorry that the process wasn’t explained to you fully from the start and it is something we will incorporate into our ongoing training. GoogleArranged appointment.Valuation person called me. Mr.J.. Made an appointment 30 June appointment time was lunch time. he called me traffic on M1. I will be with you about 3pm. I said that is ok.He did not arrived till 16.30 called him few times no answer. . He Text me 16.35pm. will have to arrange call you tomorrow. HE DID NOT.

So it looks like Kensington Investments has taken his dodgy dealings to SDL then..Why are you allowing this person to upload his special conditions of auction so late??? The deadline for registration is tomorrow and the special conditions of auction are still not available.I know kensington is paying you but you have a duty of care to buyers too- it is terrible that you allow this to happen.He was banned by auction house for his unscrupulous behavior and he has just jumped ship to you. It is unfair and immoral that you allow this to happen.Why aren't these special condition uploaded with the rest of the documents? These will undoubtly be loaded up with extra fees to be paid by the buyer which in itself is bad enough, but not giving potential bidders time to read them or ask a solicitor to read them is unforgivable. You are clearly aware and either turn a blind eye or worse, encourage it!Kensington sets out to rip people off and I am afraid that by standing by and allowing this you are complicit and just as guilty.Shame on you
