I can't speak highly enough about the exceptional experience we had from start to finish with Comfort Estates. From the moment we signed for the keys, it was clear that we were in capable hands - a stark contrast to other companies in the area. The team were very responsiveness and efficient. We had a problem with our shower and following a call that morning the issue was solved the following morning. This level of attention and care made us feel super reassured. The transparency and clarity provided throughout was also very impressive. The inventory was clearly outlined and explained making moving in and out seamless. I must give special mention to Andy, who was simply amazing throughout. Professional, helpful, and wiling to go the extra mile made all the difference. I would highly recommend Comfort Estates to any student - or anyone - looking for a hassle-free rental experience in Nottingham. I’ve just moved into a property managed by Comfort Estates, and I’m starting this as a 'Living Review', I plan to update this periodically throughout my tenancy to provide an honest, long-term look at their service. ​The experience actually started before we even moved in. Jenn from the sales team went absolutely above and beyond for us. Despite the fact that we were finalizing paperwork during the Christmas holidays, a time when most businesses slow down, she and the team worked tirelessly to ensure the house was ready for our move-in date in January. ​Once we moved in (it was a Friday), we faced a serious heating failure during our first night at the property. The way the team handled it was truly humane: ​Communication: Gabi and Amy provided prompt, transparent updates, keeping us informed every step of the way. ​Immediate Support: When it became clear a gas specialist couldn't attend until Monday, the agency thoughtfully dropped off three electric heaters to keep us warm. ​Resolution: A specialist was on-site Monday morning and successfully fixed the system. ​It’s rare to find an agency that treats tenants with such genuine empathy and urgency. Exceptional first impression from Jenn, Gabi, and the whole team. ​Current Status (Jan 2026): 5/5 Stars for the move-in and emergency support. ​The Journey Continues: I’ll be back to update this review as we settle in further. Myself and my partner had been looking for a property for almost 4 months with little to no effort or empathy from other letting agents, until we met Jess at a house viewing. She was so informative, chatty and generally a joy to be around which was a breath of fresh air after months of meeting and dealing with other letting agents. We applied to the property but was unfortunately rejected, usually, that's game over and we don't hear anything back from the agent but Jess was quick to respond with another house for us. We've now managed to secure the property before it went on the market! I've used comfort for around 6 years now and they have always given us a fantastic service. They are very quick to answer any questions or requests that we have had, and they have always found us good quality tenants and have let out our properties very quickly when advertised. As we look to build our portfolio and renovate some of our properties as we go along, we have had many questions which Phil has always answered with honest views and feedback and I always go to him now when we need some advice. Comfort Lettings have been outstanding estate agents to us during our 2 year tenancy while at university. As first time let/renters we didn’t know exactly how good/bad estate agents would be and we’ve received only the best service from Comfort Lettings. Not only have all payments and contracts been easy and quick but their communication whenever there is a problem is superb and they’re very quick to resolve any issues. In particular the manager of our property Andy Hayton has been excellent to us helping us whenever we needed and being our first point of contact. It was absolutely a pleasure working with Comfort Lettings. Lindsay was so responsive, prompt and helpful. As we were searching from London, it was very difficult to arrange viewing in Nottingham. However Lindsay was able to solve these logistics issues. Lindsay kept fluent communication throughout the rental offer and we had our offer accepted within 24hours. The whole process including references two just over 1 week. In todays market finding a honest and reliable agency is hard. I've been a tenant under the Comfort Estates letting team for a month now and from the short amount of time I've spent with the team, I've experienced nothing but professional, friendly and speedy customer service. Hannah, our building manager has been wonderful and made us feel very welcomed and has helped us with any information or troubles and has made sure any issues have been fixed within the next day! Furthermore, the maintenance team have been extremely helpful. We had a plumbing issue when moving in (by no fault of Comfort Estates) and they were able to fix the issue very quickly and were very understanding.
