We are really grateful for the support we received, and the high level of skill in communications, which were both friendly and highly professional on all sides. Castle Estates have great skill in what they do, and we were supported every step of the way with kindness and care, underpinned by a solution-based approach. The staff team are experienced professionals, and very well equipped to sensitively manage a wide variety of situations really well, including those more complex things that are bound to crop up in the management of any property. GoogleI experienced an extremely welcoming and professional service whilst going through the process of renting our new home. Communication was excellent; the enthusiasm for a result was inspiring and certainly made the whole process easier. The support was at all levels from referencing to the check in, working with both staff( Shomari) and management (Michael) when needed. We are very happy, and would recommend castle estates to any prospective tenants.

GoogleI was in a student house for a year and they took months to fix anything and when they had people round, they would always do a half job. Signed the contract only a day before move in, they then made me do it twice because they took too long and the request expired. Was so last minute that I had no idea if I would even have a place to live for that year. They were not helpful and I had a really bad experience living in a property run by them. Would not recommend

GoogleAbsolute and utter cowboys! I really do not trust this company they have no concern at all for tenants and their aim seems to be to squeeze/con/grab as much money out of you as possible. I would make sure 100% that the deposit taken has been put into a scheme because mine wasn't and I had to report this to claim the money back.
Hello Keeley, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. All of our tenant's deposits are registered in accordance with the 2004 Housing Act without acceptation. As a professional letting agent and a NALS member we ensure that this is carried out within the DPS guidelines and that all relevant information is passed onto tenants. I would encourage you to contact Michael at the office to discuss this matter further as we are unable to find your name in our system and we have never been reported for not protecting a tenant's deposit.

GoogleCarbon monoxide alarm went off in student property, together with water leak out of hours. Unable to contact anyone from Castle Estates. Had to contact gas people directly to turn gas off. Left with no electricity or gas or water. All had to decamp to hotel for night. Problem not sorted following day (Friday)as "no plumbers available " but would be after weekend. Found emergency plumbers that could come out but Castle Estate refused to use them. Water still leaking so lights to kitchen and living room turned off and expected to pay for takeaways on student budget or cook by light of extraction hood. Unsure if this is actually safe given water is still dripping through. Lied to about attempts to get sorted before Monday. Cannot recommend. Still waiting to hear if hotel costs will be covered along with takeaway costs. Very unprofessional service.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI contacted Castle Gates when I found myself in a very precarious situation with my first landlord. Their first response was to empathise with me which made me calmer. They later explained their renting process to me which usually takes a few days; because of the necessary background checks that need to be done. Since my situation was a peculiar one, they were willing to speed it up provided I could make all the necessary documents available. The following day, I decided to go to their office to increase my creditability as well as show them the urgency of the matter. I was welcomed warmly and also offered some tea. I was later engaged in a conversation with Michael who took me through a quick introduction of what he required of me before I could get my key. He prepared a form online and sent it via email. I logged on, provided the documents they requested and awaited a confirmation. After a few minutes, the confirmation was done. I made the payment and by evening I was given my keys. Three things stood out for me when it comes to my experience with Castle Estates 1. Excellent communication and empathy 2. Top-notch customer experience 3. Seamless and secure digital services If you are about to move to Nottingham and looking for an excellent agency, then this is the place to go. Thank you very much Castle Estates. GoogleI had a viewing with castle states letting agents, for a studio, and even though we had a confirmation issue, so when I got to the place there was no one, I called and they came straight away to show me the studio. The man was really kind and sorry about the missunderstood. After that, I was about to apply to get the studio but even though I didn't at the end, they were really kind.

GooglePolite staff, but do not offer weekend viewings. This would make me think twice about selling a property with castle estates.

GoogleA really professional outfit. The agent who showed me round was the first to actually help me visualise how the property would look. He answered all my questions and was only too happy to come out for a second viewing, so that I could show my daughter and get her seal of approval. The MD also organised measurements of the rooms so that I could plan order my new furniture, knowing it would all fit!
