We got a quote, after multiple phonecalls and emails trying to push the service on us. We signed terms and conditions etc. and just had one question about pay terms, as we wanted to add on another service, before paying. Only to be told that they no longer cover the city we are buying in, with everything cancelled and no explanation, only 24 hours after first being hassled by them. Seemed very odd and untrustworthy!
We can only apologise for this. Due to circumstances out of our control, all of a sudden we no longer had a surveyor operating within your area. We apologise for not being more sensitive to your booking and you at least deserved an explanation upon cancellation. Please accept our sincere apologies on this matter.

The report was speedily completed on the same day after the inspection was taken, but with wrong information provided. They actually told me that it took around 5 business days to have the report completed which I think is pretty reasonable. But the speedily received report makes me feel too unsecured, besides the error I found, I really don’t know whether other information inside the report belongs to my property. But money was paid already , report was received already, I can just say, how unlucky I am.
Thank you for your feedback. To reasonably manage expectations from all our customers, we advise up to 3-5 working days for Level 2 surveys. We only advise this as a worst-case scenario and will of course endeavour to return your report to you as soon as possible so we don’t hold up your sale. Apologies, we can see you highlighted an inconsistency within your report, but this has been reviewed and rectified by the surveyor directly. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to discuss any queries further.

I can say that this will not be the last time that I will be using Watsons. Both the information provided by the Surveyor and also the contact that I had with the company from my inital enquiry has been fantastic. The willingness and ease it eas in the communication, requests through to simply being able to understand that dates/times and a buying schedule changes; were more than accomodated. I will be happy to use Watsons as my first port of call in the future when they are needed again. Highly recommended, and certainly worth every penny!!

GoogleI spoke to Dave Watson on the phone when booking my survey: he was knowledgeable and helpful, giving me the advice that I required. My survey was done promptly, with the report being available shortly afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to use Watson's again, should I need another survey.
