The report was speedily completed on the same day after the inspection was taken, but with wrong information provided. They actually told me that it took around 5 business days to have the report completed which I think is pretty reasonable. But the speedily received report makes me feel too unsecured, besides the error I found, I really don’t know whether other information inside the report belongs to my property. But money was paid already , report was received already, I can just say, how unlucky I am.

First experience, not to be my last

I can say that this will not be the last time that I will be using Watsons. Both the information provided by the Surveyor and also the contact that I had with the company from my inital enquiry has been fantastic. The willingness and ease it eas in the communication, requests through to simply being able to understand that dates/times and a buying schedule changes; were more than accomodated. I will be happy to use Watsons as my first port of call in the future when they are needed again. Highly recommended, and certainly worth every penny!!

Poor report

We felt it was a poor report that lacked details and contained mistakes ( eg incorrectly identify the property as cavity wall when it was not) We ended up getting a second report that was half the price but contained twice as much detail from a different company this was at our expense. The report was basically a list of things that may or not be wrong with the property. With no cause or possible solutions.

This was a friendly, polite and professional company. The process of arranging the survey was straight forward with clear explanations of the levels. The price was competitive and my survey was booked within 10 working days. My comprehensive yet clear report then came through on the 6th working day following the survey. I had clear communication with the company on both phone and email though they worked with the estate agents to arrange access to the property and updated me prior and following their attendance.

While booking the guy (I think Lee) I was talking to explained everything in detail and didn't try to sell me stuff i didn't need like other companies which is ultimately why I choose them. They also quoted me the cheapest price. The survey was done to a high standard and the results were sent the next day. The survey went into extra detail on areas I was concerned about. I had a query about something on the report rang up and a lady read over the report and found the information for me. Both people I spoke to were lovely and very helpful. Would 100% recommend and use again.

Quite slow

The survey was delayed by several weeks due to illness which is totally understandable and unavoidable. However, it then took 12 working days to get the report when the company had stated 5-10. I realise they may be busy at times but I had hoped that due to the initial delay, they would do their best to get the report written quickly. It took a number of emails and phone calls on my part to chase the report, which was quite frustrating.
