Really happy with the service received from Chris! From the initial viewing of the property Chris was really informative and showed me around the house properly (lots of estate agents open the door and leave you to it meaning you miss bits and don't get to ask questions as you look around). Chris was also very helpful with the application process and put forward my interest straight away. Since the viewing I have received nearly daily calls from Chris updating me on move in dates etc throughout. Having had a negative estate agent experience previously Chris has restored my faith! The sale of our Dad's house was a bit of a roller coaster ride, with several change of agents. How I wish we had gone with Abbotts, Norwich branch, in the first instance. Kerry, the manager was very professional and we immediately felt in safe hands and relieved. Danielle was our key agent and went above and beyond to sell the house. She is so personable and put every ounce of energy and long hours into selling. We felt as though she was really on our side and working towards the best for us, as customers. If I sell another house, I will always go with Abbotts, Norwich. We highly recommend this branch if you're thinking of selling. Abysmal service and disgusting state of flat

Abysmal service with loads of outstanding work to be done and yet Abbotts Norwich continue to show no regard for my safety or wellbeing. Continuously trying to pass on responsibility and no work being done even after 2 weeks of moving in, when the work was documented on the inventory as urgently needing repair. Bethany, Maddie, Zach and Chris have all been involved and each are as bad at their job as the next.

My experience with Chris has been exceptional. He’s been so attentive, super easy to reach and is very knowledgable. Not only is Chris approachable but nothing feels like too much trouble and he has really supported in the move! HORRIBLE agents, a really bad experience. They didn't care about anything. We left before the contract finished as they ignored us. I wouldn't recommend going to this one; there are plenty of agencies, way more professional than Abbots. It is not difficult, though. Add them as no-go agents. DO NOT risk it and read the reviews before. I don't know why I didn't do this from my end.

Money loss and poor professionalism

My experience with Abbotts Rental Agency was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Not only did they fail to return our advance rent payment in a timely manner after vacating the home, but they also didn't support us in claiming it back from the landlady, resulting in a loss of our money. Additionally, they neglected to back up the deposit properly and unjustly deducted exorbitant amounts, citing unnecessary expenses such as £710 for cleaning and double payment for tap replacement. This lack of transparency and fair treatment is unacceptable, highlighting Abbotts Rental Agency's disregard for their customers' rights and financial well-being.

Abbots sold my last home for us and we bought this bungalow from them and can honestly say the service we received was amazing. We were let down by a local estate agent who told us we had sold our house to a cash buyer, only to find out they didn't act with due care and diligence, the cash buyer hadn't even sold. I went to Abbotts who were selling us this bungalow and within four days had found us another buyer who completed in record time so we didn't lose our bungalow we had set our hearts on buying. I can never thank Kerry , Braydon and all the team for all the hard work and care they took over our purchase. As the bungalow had been empty for two years prior to sale they bent over backwards letting us arrange to see the place with specialists to make sure all was in order several times. If you want an estate agent who cares Abbotts Exchange Street Norwich is the place for you.
