I hired AbbotFox to be my estate agents earlier this year and I was not impressed in their attempts to sell my property. I had barely any contact with them and in 6 months, they only had 4 viewers for my property. This can be understandable in the current market but they did not reach out to me to see if there was anything extra that could be done to make the property more attractive to buyers. This lack of contact actually led to them forgetting that I was actually their customer. I received two letters from them in September and October where they stated that "my current agent had probably exhausted their marketing tools and I should consider going with them instead". I was so annoyed at this, I suggested that we should end the contract mutually two weeks early however the manager declined and I felt was trying to trick me into "cancelling" the contract instead of ending it mutually (if I had cancelled i would have had to pay extra fees). Therefore, I just let the contract run its course and lost two weeks of valuable selling time. Oh, and after all this, it took me a full month to receive my keys back. I would not recommend.

Having been in our new house for 6 weeks I feel that I have review and thank abbotFox for making it all possible. When we made the decision to move and, contacted abbotFox the response was brilliant. From the first contact we were consulted and, kept informed of all developments pertaining to our move. It was in fact abbotFox who found our new house, having made the effort to know our requirements. Being a retired Police officer and my wife working for the NHS it was nice to see how abbotFox were supporting the emergency services during this pandemic. Once again I would like to thank all the staff at abbotFox for making our move so seamless. Moving house they say is one of the most stressful activities during ones life. Ours however was not. I have no hesitation in awarding abbotFox 5 stars for all their help and going the extra mile.
