We had seen a holiday home in norfolk we loved, we called Abbotfox and talked to Harry, and we made an offer straight away before viewing, we were told it would be fully furnished if we offered the asking price, it was accepted fully furnished As we live in Ireland, we arrange to come over straight away to view, so we got a flight and arranged to view Monday the 17th. Although the place wasn't quite as described, we stuck to our offer, we phoned Harry, to ask if we could have an inventory to the property and was then told they would be removing sofas table chairs etc, he also said they had had another offer. Totally misled and devastated, just paid for flights hotels car hire dogs in kennels, so we spent best part of £843 for what ... total disappointment. So we went home devastated can't believe the service that was given, the agreement on our offer was, it was furnished so they totally changed the goal post ..... we are pensioners that just wanted a holiday home close to family .... heartbroken!! well done Abbotfox you have broken our hearts !!!!!!!

My partner and I have been renting from Abbotfox since August 2016 and can count on one hand, the amount of times they have done things promised to us. Me and my partner are living in *luxury* apartments in the city centre and from October 2016 had mould in the flat. We were told by the estate agents that this has been caused by faulty window installation and that they would have someone out the next day to assess the situation. This did not happen. We have a furnished flat and upon moving in, the bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers were all faulty and of poor quality. We had our bed frame replaced 6 months later, yet the mattress that has accumulated mould from the damp has not been replaced, and we are still having to sleep on this due to their "furniture policy". We also have a four lettered swearword beginning with C and ending in unt scratched into our living room wall. They are very good at contacting you when you owe them rent money, or deposits, but if you need their help, they will ignore emails, and tell you they will call you back. There is a very big problem within their accounts department, we are continually sent letters stating we are £3000 in arrears, only to go through our bank account and see that all payments have been successful. Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery in my opinion.

Without a doubt the most professional team in Norwich, with a clear focus on the personal matters of the process. Initially, I was to move in to a new rented property, but the current tenant refused to leave despite the end of his contract. By that point, we were on a tight schedule, so it became rather stressful. I was quickly reassured by Elliot, who we had been in contact with throughout, that he would do his best to find something suitable - even though we had restrictions, such as a pet needing an enclosed garden. I looked elsewhere, finding much lower qualities of customer support in all other estate agencies, before receiving an email from Elliot. He had details of the perfect house - one even better than the first prospect. At the time of writing, we have been here for just under a week and I couldn't be happier. It sounds dramatic, but thanks to the proactive efforts of Elliot and AbbotFox, both me and my housemate now have a much better quality of life. Emails were responded to promptly. Genuine care appeared to be present. Every team member was very pleasant. The office is really nice - almost edging on a quirky cafe. All missed calls came with a short voicemail confirming that they needed to chat. Even in the most stressful moments, everything felt under control. I would highly recommend.

Very Poor Standards

Our neighbours from Hell instructed Abbotfox to sell their home. Because our neighbours have never been prepared to deal with the many issues between us ,we had hoped that their Agent would help resolve problems, not only for us but also for our new neighbours. When our present neighbours purchased their home it was listed as Detached, they were very disappointed to find later that it wasn't, it is a fact that it is Attached to ours . This was the catalyst to all the problems. When Abbotfox first listed the property it was as Detached, after my intervention it was correctly changed to that of Semi Detached, now it has been listed as Link Detached which is incorrect and misleading. Also I tried to get a dialogue with the Agent because nothing was coming from our neighbours, Abbotfox refused, I am very concerned that ongoing issues need to be addressed to the benefit of all concerned. I had asked the Agent to put my details to the legal team who was acting for some buyers who have now pulled out, I find Abbotfox have not acted in the best interests of all concerned, obviously the sellers have issued instructions for them mot to communicate with me. When I challenged Abbotfox they told me they had been instructed to sell and that's what they had done. They obviously don't care about the buyers wellbeing, or the mess that their clients are passing on.

What can I say....Julie was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. The solicitors within the chain were quite frankly terrible, however Julie constantly chased everyone for us and kept the chain ticking over. Can't thank her enough for what she did for us, without her we would not have ended up getting the house we live in today.
