I purchased a home from Anwyl Homes a few months ago and the process was very smooth with virtually no hiccups from the sales team (Helen and Sarah were very helpful). Everything was dealt with smoothly and swiftly.Since moving into the property the on-site staff Gaz and Joe have been extremely helpful, caring and very professional. They go out of their way to ensure everything is done correctly and to a high standard and are always looking to improve any aspect of the property without even having to ask them. I can only say good words about the service I have recieved from them especially since this is my first property purchase they have given me good general advice without feeling rushed or ignored. I couldn't have asked for a better team to make the process easy for me.

We purchased our house on the Fairways estate in Handforth in March this year, with the intention of setting up a supported living arrangement for our son and two other adults with disabilities.Anwyl Housing have made the potentially stressful process of buying a house as straightforward as possible. The sales staff have been extremely helpful, and have kept us fully informed at all times.The quality of the build is very good; we are very impressed and delighted with our new house. There were obviously a number of snags which needed addressing, but the site foreman Gaz, along with Joe, could not have been more attentive. All of the snags have been successfully attended to, and Gaz and Joe also very kindly completed a few additional tasks for us.Overall, we have found the whole process of buying a new build property from Anwyl reasonably stress-free and straightforward, and would recommend them without reservation.

Marie, our sales representative, was an absolute pleasure to deal with, friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a smooth process. Her professionalism and support made the journey enjoyable and stress-free. A special mention to Scott, Keith, and Andy from the site management team, whose hard work and dedication truly made a difference. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to assist with any queries or concerns were outstanding. They ensured everything was completed to a high standard and made the entire transition seamless. We couldn’t be happier with our new home and the level of service we received. Excellent customer care

Excellent customer care from Gareth Foster after moving. There were quite a few snagging issues, but Gaz was very responsive and helpful in getting things sorted.We had multiple build delays amounting to three months in total, which caused a lot of upset and expense, and initially there were a lot of snagging issues, which have taken a while to clear, but Gaz was great in arranging fixes, and went the extra mile by sorting skips for rubbish disposal and other things, which was much appreciated.5 stars for the customer care from Gaz and Joe Turano, as well as the sales team who were very helpful.

Victoria Mills - Holmes Chapel

Thank you to Helen, Alex and Tom from sales who supported us throughout the purchase. Particularly to Tom who went above and beyond on completion day, staying well into his Friday evening to ensure we could have the keys that day. The current sales team, Gyllian and Lauren, have been equally helpful when we needed them post completion. The assistant site manager Isaac has been absolutely fantastic. It is lovely to see that he takes pride in the houses on his site and has been genuinely invested in making sure we are happy with our home. Following our 4-week snag meeting, we never felt forgotten about. Isaac was consistently in touch and all the snags on the list have been rectified by the site team who were friendly and respectful. Overall, from our experience so far we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anwyl to anyone looking for a new build home.

Got the keys to our new house a few weeks ago. There were a couple of small snags which I was initially worried about... Then I met Isaac. What a man. Nothing was a problem for him. He listened to my concerns and made sure every thing was tip top. He is an absolute building site super star. If only every one was like him. 5 stars, would have been even more if it was an option. Top marks for build/snagging team - Nil points for sales/service team

I initially thought I was writing a review specifically for Lee who did some snagging today, he was great, very helpful and professional and clearly wanted to do the best job possible, would highly recommend. Thank you Lee!The 5 stars are for the building/site team who have all been amazing, great guys and all very professional. The Sales and customer service (non existent) front end teams (I did not speak to anyone in back office so don’t want to tar them unfairly) are shockingly bad, there are too many examples to write to explain why I spent most part of a year stressed and in tears many times (and I’m not a crier). The house and site workers are amazing, I’m very happy with my home and no majors issues thus far, minor issues dealt with with no hassle. Would I buy Anwyl again? No, I couldn’t go through the stress of having to deal with the sales office again.

Not so great after all...Infact it gets worse by the day

Update - Further to the below the door has eventually been fixed. HOWEVER - I am still waiting on them fixing an issue with the bathroom that has the risk of backflow - this was emailed to them 3 weeks after I moved in a full snagging report was sent to them. They are now claiming it was never logged and as I'm now out of warranty they won't address it. I've sent them the email with the snagging report but this again shows the poor level of customer care - if you are buying from anwyl I fully recommend an independent snagging report and make sure everything is fixed within 4 weeks don't let it go beyond that and have to deal with 'customer care'Update - Beware of Customer Care - after the 4 weeks builder review its shocking!! They don't reply to your emails - from the moment we moved in our side external door has never closed properly catches on the frame - 2 years later after an anwyl technician and some one from IG Doors coming out to the property the issue is still not fixed. Door was supposed to be getting replaced anwyl rocked up the other day to fix but didn't have the door - apparently it was supposed to be delivered to the property address. No communication from customer care to advise this was happen and no email from anwyl since to apologize for the mix up! Door tuned up today but still no communication from anwyl after I sent an email raising a complaint! The builders and technicians are lovely but Anwyl customer care really lets them downGreat experience overall - Lorraine has been great, keeping us up to date on the build to helpful advice on our options (karndean flooring in hallway was an excellent shout - if we had gone with carpet it would already have been ruined 🤣) Issue with spacing for washing machine and tumble dryer was promptly resolved. Site manager and his assistant were great at meet the builder meetings and home demo! So informative and dead friendly! We love our new home!!

We've had a couple of issues with both the front door and side/back door but Anwly have resolved the issues, the guy who came to rectify the lock knew exactly what he was doing and knew exactly what he was talking about, he said previously he was a locksmith think his name is Lee Ashworth? Great Customer aftercare

Anwyl Customer Care quickly resolved an issue with cracked tiles in our bathroom and the plumber, tiler, and Customer Service Technician were brilliant on the day. They were considerate and friendly and did a fabulous job. Special thanks to Paul Higham, Customer Service Technician for making sure our bathroom was left like new and arranged for the plumber to come whilst he waited to carry out the necessary work.

The Fairways experience

We received a new house in December, and this is the first time we bought a property when we came to the UK. We hired a surveyor and found some snags. I was a little worried at the time, but luckily Isaac is here, he is very professional, friendly and helpful, he followed up and arranged all repairs for us along the way, very efficient, we are very happy. Everyone on the site team is great, especially Isaac, Helen and Sarah.

Regret buying through Anwyl Homes

Sales team at Victoria Mills Holmes Chapel such as Tom and Alex were great. Big delays in completion of the house being build cost us thousands more! Once we had the keys they don't really care about your concerns. Issac helped where he could but the complaints procedure are poor and they don't resolve anything. Really poor driveway and I regret the whole experience with Anwyl at Victoria Mills. I wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

We have recently moved into our new home on the Fairways in Handforth. We have not owned a new build property before but the whole process with Anwyl from reservation to moving in has been faultless. The sales team were absolutely excellent - specifically Sarah, Helen and Alex. They were professional, friendly, helpful and supportive with our concerns and queries. Most importantly, we cannot praise or thank Gaz, our site manager, enough for all of his patience, hard workand enthusiasm in making sure our house was perfect both when moving in and subsequently. He has dealt with any concerns and issues we have had with the house promptly, professionally and always with a smile! Nothing seems too much trouble and we are so grateful. He is without a doubt the best part of our experience with Anwyl thus far.

Highly recommend

We recently moved into our beautiful Anwyl home on the Priory Gardens development. We are absolutely made up with the house and it’s position on the estate overlooking fields. The sales team really looked after us - Steph and Sam were so lovely and kept us regularly updated re progress. They were so good when we encountered a bit of a bump early on in the process and we were so grateful. Nigel also needs a mention. He was also lovely and really helpful. The house is really good quality and even the meter fitter from United Utilities told us that they are a very good builder. I highly recommend Anwyl to anyone looking for a new build or moving to lovely Burscough!
