These people are the worst kind of…

These people are the worst kind of human beings. They have no regard for their customers, they are worthless in every respect. There are far better estate agents who actually hire human beings, as opposed to haart employee. I don’t know if to call them racist or they are just inhuman. So this day I had viewing and went down to the property with my innocent two kids cause it was after school runs . After walking severally and calling the office that I couldn’t locate the number on the house they told me that someone will get hold of me soon .eventually i got there and this lady by the name Anita dudkowska didn’t let me in . She showed no empathy . She acted like a pure demon that knew me from somewhere and was waiting to just fight me . I begged this lady to let me view this property but she insisted even my 5 year old kid was begging this lady so we don’t just walk in vain but she kept straight face till we just left . Meanwhile I saw her giving form to another lady to fill but refused us to view. This is evil and callousness. I wish I had read previous reviews of them I wouldn’t have bothered myself to go to them . That lady in particular is not fit to a letting negotiator . I will never recommend this agent to anyone .

We used Horts to rent out our property in Rugby whilst we were living abroad for two and half years. The whole experience was so easy and we have made some lovely friends too. It's like your home is their home as it is looked after as if it was. Their excellent choice in tenants meant that we returned to our home in the same state as we left it. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble always helping out with a smile. Jon and Jeremy are a brilliant team and are the reason we sold our house. We had been with a different agency for months and nothing happened. They both took control, changed the approach, took AMAZING photos and got us a buyer where others couldn’t. What really sets them apart is that it didn’t stop there. So many estate agents lose interest once the sale is agreed. Horts were the opposite, were constantly chasing and made things happen. I am so glad we had them both on our side and I cannot recommend them enough

Over the 10 years I have been in Northampton, Horts has been my agent of choice for both my personal and business sales and purchases. Both their sales and letting teams are on the ball, helpful, highly knowledgeable and hugely dependable in their professionalism. I say this also with confidence in that I've seen how other estate agents work and I have always experienced the highest standards of service, transparency, often going above and beyond to make sure things move smoothly not just for me but for all parties AND through excellent collaboration with my legal team... And this is true from our lead agent, Chris, through to the sales progression team and lettings team. I have said to the team at Horts that I believe I have been very spoilt by them as I have the expectation that everyone will be of the same standard. Thank you Horts.

We used Horts to rent out our first house. Dorian was extremely helpful providing us with advice, putting us in contact with cleaners, decorators etc and was always available to answer our questions - nothing was too much for him. Our house was only on the market for 3 days before he'd found the suitable tenant and they'd moved in within that month too! A great service making everything hassle free! It was by chance we found Horts to sell our home when I rang up and spoke to Philippa regarding a property in Rugby we wanted to view; although that didn't work out we were so overwhelmed by how lovely Philippa was we sold our home with her and were very glad we did! Omar was handling the sale of the property we were purchasing. Firstly, with my husband being a shift worker, viewing flexibility was key to us. We had phoned 4 agents on a Sunday to arrange viewings and Horts were the only company to be able to accommodate this. 1 did not even have their office manned on a Sunday?! Omar was polite and knowledgeable, coming up with an excellent suggestion for future plans for the property.Throughout the process, which was quite lengthy due to 2 hitches on our side - Omar ALWAYS answered his phone, well out of hours. Again a huge plus point for those of us who are self employed and / or shifts. Messages between colleagues were always passed on accurately.I would definitely recommend any future vendor using Horts services!

I recently sold my property using Horts and I couldn't recommend them enough. As this was my first house sale, I was looking for someone to be able to look after the sale of my home, someone I could trust that they knew the current market as their judgement on what to value the property at would be in their hands. From the start, Omar showed great professionalism talking me through their process and the benefits Horts could offer. They were great value for money and the quality of the images were perfectly taken for the property and these were online within 24 hours. I had regular updates from Omar during the viewing process as well as their portal update service and once I had accepted an offer, Omar would keep me informed at what stage we were at, what I needed to do and would chase my buying party when required without me even asking. The sale completed last week and I don't think it would have been as easy without his knowledge and input. Thank you! The first attempt at the house sale fell through due to issues with the buyer, but I was met with a positive attitude and it was back on the market in no time. I worked with couple agents but none of them has shown the same level of professionalism as Dan! Honest and open from the start giving me true view of the market. He managed my expectations from the start in terms of timelines - I really felt I’m being looked after. Some agents (knowing I live abroad now) we’re trying to sell property under its value just to get quick sale. Dan looked after me ensuring I get fair price for the property! He has shown great interest and flexibility in helping with staging and clearing the house. More then that he also sold it in record time in the middle of the Covid lockdown! We viewed two properties with Horts. The next morning, Emma called my partner for feedback and asked for figures, which he guessed with rough figures since I was handling our mortgage discussions (and he informed her of this). Emma then forwarded this incorrect information to the seller, asking for their best offer. When we provided the correct figures later, she told us she had already shared the incorrect ones with the seller. While I understand agents want a sale, it’s crucial to wait for accurate information. This mistake meant we couldn't offer a lower figure without appearing disingenuous. As a result, we decided not to pursue that property due to the chaotic process. We then inquired about a different property from another Horts branch, but Emma continued to contact us despite it being a separate branch. When I requested a different agent to arrange a viewing, I was promised a call back but instead received a call from Chris. He hadn't contacted the sellers as we was promised to arrange a viewing and instead questioned our financial capability, implying we couldn't afford the properties we were interested in. I had to prove our affordability via emails with our mortgage broker, despite already providing a mortgage in principle, which wasn’t required for the previous two viewings. After providing our mortgage in principle and multiple emails proving our maximum affordability, which was within the budget of the properties in question, Chris still felt the need to personally contact our mortgage advisor, showing little belief in us despite all the proof. We eventually secured viewings but ended up canceling them after finding a property through another agency that treated us with honesty and respect. Overall, my partner and I felt mistreated throughout the process and would not recommend using Horts. Fortunately, we found our home through another agency and had a much better experience without any doubts or questioning.
