Ray and Emma were absolutely amazing in both helping us find our perfect home and in turn selling ours. The photos they took were very professional and the house was marketed beautifully. Due to their excellent local knowledge they actually sold our house pre-marketing which was a huge relief. The rest of the sale process went very smoothly with Emma’s expertise and passion driving out solicitors to arrange the exchange and completion. Most importantly they were there by our sides every step of the way, keeping us as stress-free as possible and really supporting us through it all. We are so grateful to have used them as our agents, thank you both!

I can’t recommend Emma and Ray at Horts highly enough. From start to finish, they made what could have been a very stressful process feel so much easier. We’ve now sold two properties for elderly relatives over the last year, both using Chris Stone, and have been really pleased with the outcome. The first was very straightforward, no chain. The second, not so, in a longish chain which caused a few issues, but not the fault of Horts. Chris secured us a fair price on both properties, and was very communicative and helpful through the whole process. The first went through from offer to completion in 8 weeks and the second 13 weeks. Not too bad. When we were getting frustrated on the second sale Chris was very good at finding what the holdups were in the chain and was honest about it. I would recommend Chris at Horts. Ps also his photos are brilliant.

I would thoroughly recommend Emma & Ray Jacobs of Horts Estate Agents. Can’t fault them. Emma was amazing throughout the whole process. Once the property had sold Emma kept me informed with regular updates on the progress of each of the properties in the chain, not just the progress of my buyers but everyone above and below. Terrible experience lost money, used the recommeded solicitor they waited until almost completing to send me land searches only to find out the house was built on top a quarry and landfill site. Estate agents called aggressively telling me theres no landfill or quarry in brixworth it's all lies even though it was all in front of me in writing. Seriously believe they were working with solicitor and seller, as they stated they were unaware even though he also had said he had sold multiple properties on the same road. Be very careful if you choose to buy through horts

Avoid this agency.., We had a nightmare which i bought in nn2. When we had a view with this clown STEVE, he told us everything is working fine in this house… it’s nice . We moved in this house ,a week later after we bought and found out the ceiling and the bathroom is leaking… water coming through the bathroom to kitchen. And then i called that clown to told him the house is leaking, the water is dripping to the kitchen, and the answer from that clown is call the plumber not me, is this real.which is very awful and disgusting . Before you buy from these jokers, make sure the house is not leaking. Now the maintenance cost i was quoted is around 9k -11k … ACOID

I am truly happy to see the reviews left informing my family and I that this real estate agency is quite lovely. Unfortunately, we had a little conversation with Anita on separate occasions. And she is truly terrible. The tone she uses to speak to my family and I on separate phone calls (as we are all moving to Northampton but different properties) is truly unacceptable. I was told “not to contact agencies that I don’t want to view,” even though I wasn’t the one enquiring about a specific property. If she used the two eyes that was given, she would have seen that the name print was different or have some kind of conversation to ask “is there anyone in your household that could’ve inquired but used your name.” Not to mention, most experienced agents in the UK know that British Overseas Territories- we do not need to inform of our rental overseas. Anita needs a more warming personality as it’s 10am on a Monday. If you are angry and obnoxious there’s no need to take it out on inquiring customers. She lost not 1 but 3 clients Hort’s could’ve had in one day. I do not recommend Anita as a rental agent. Thank you.

I am usually not one to write reviews but the sheer unprofessionalism from the agent at Horts leaves me with little to no option. We viewed a house we wanted as an investment property. The property was already tenanted and we expressed interest with readiness to put in an offer. We asked Chris Gibson to find out how much the tenants were paying to help us make an informed decision. Days rolled by with no correspondence from Chris and further emails to him were ignored. This was all while the property asking price was being reduced to attract buyers. So it leaves me with no other thought than to think Chris is unprofessional and not worth wasting your time.
