GoogleI recently was buying a property through horts and to be honest it was not a great experience. The sale fell through due to the lack of input from the agents dealing with the purchase. They failed to chase the vendor ensuring that the necessary documents were acquired to sell the property. i always seemed to inconvenience them when I asked them anything to do with the progress of the sale When I eventually pulled out of the sale after 15 weeks of getting nowhere he blamed the solicitor for his inability to do his job properly. I find this quite amazing as they sat back and assumed everything was going through when in fact the opposite was happening. Thankfully I am now buying through another estate agent who knows how to do her job and does it very well. I would never deal with them again because I found them very arrogant and self important
Hi Maria, firstly let me again say how sorry we are that you decided to withdraw from the sale. As discussed with you at the time, it was a very unfortunate saga in which it took an awful long time to get the paperwork together. It wasn't until the paperwork was available that we were able to see the faulty documents which all needed updating and amending. Again, as discussed, it was no reflection on the solicitors dealing with your matter or those dealing for the vendor. A previous firm had not acted correctly when the vendor had bought the flat and therefore, acting in your best interests, your solicitor wanting things put right. As agents, we tried to push the matter along and kept you informed on a regular basis but were unable to do more than just be the messenger. We wish you the best with you replacement purchase.

FacebookReally poor attitude towards tenants. We just been told we lost our 807 deposit. Place was left spotless. Never been treated like this in my life with any estate agents we rented from. Lost our jobs had medical bills to cover and explained our situation due to pandemic. But no grace was given. In fact we was treated terribly. We left tenancy early but paid right up to the day a new tenant moved in to property. Which was left spotless. Horts now want a 455 pound compensation fee, for what? No rent lost, clean ready to move into flat for new tenants. So I don't get it. They even tried to say we broke freezer draw. I would never do this. We have pictures to prove this. We was almost left homeless due to not getting our hard-earned deposit back. And now trying to take more from us knowing we are in such a bad place financially.

Kept us updated on the interest in our property, gave us advice on the process and was always available on the phone. Would automatically use Dan again when selling a home, and would happily buy from Horts too. Great service!

GoogleI've been a tenant with Horts lettings for the last 5 and a half years and I cannot fault them, the few maintenance issues I had over the years were dealt with swiftly and to a high standard and communication was excellent. Any other issues or questions I had regarding my tenancy over the years were also addressed and they were always happy to listen and to work to make my letting experience faultless Susan and Sue and the rest of the team have been a pleasure to deal with over the years and and clearly have alot of experience in the lettings industry I would definitely use Horts lettings again if needed 😊
Stephen, I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to receive your review. We get lots of thanks from landlords, sellers and buyers but it is the reviews from tenants that mean the most. Keeping on top of maintenance issues and looking after the welfare of everyone renting through us is such a priority. We, of course, couldn't do it without having helpful landlords. These people are the worst kind of human beings. They have no regard for their customers, they are worthless in every respect. There are far better estate agents who actually hire human beings, as opposed to haart employee. I don’t know if to call them racist or they are just inhuman. So this day I had viewing and went down to the property with my innocent two kids cause it was after school runs . After walking severally and calling the office that I couldn’t locate the number on the house they told me that someone will get hold of me soon .eventually i got there and this lady by the name Anita dudkowska didn’t let me in . She showed no empathy . She acted like a pure demon that knew me from somewhere and was waiting to just fight me . I begged this lady to let me view this property but she insisted even my 5 year old kid was begging this lady so we don’t just walk in vain but she kept straight face till we just left . Meanwhile I saw her giving form to another lady to fill but refused us to view. This is evil and callousness. I wish I had read previous reviews of them I wouldn’t have bothered myself to go to them . That lady in particular is not fit to a letting negotiator . I will never recommend this agent to anyone .

FacebookWe used Horts to rent out our property in Rugby whilst we were living abroad for two and half years. The whole experience was so easy and we have made some lovely friends too. It's like your home is their home as it is looked after as if it was. Their excellent choice in tenants meant that we returned to our home in the same state as we left it. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble always helping out with a smile. We have now decided to sell our home and are looking forward to working again with this professional and friendly team. Thank you to Dorian and his wonderful staff.

GoogleJon and Jeremy are a brilliant team and are the reason we sold our house. We had been with a different agency for months and nothing happened. They both took control, changed the approach, took AMAZING photos and got us a buyer where others couldn’t. What really sets them apart is that it didn’t stop there. So many estate agents lose interest once the sale is agreed. Horts were the opposite, were constantly chasing and made things happen. I am so glad we had them both on our side and I cannot recommend them enough

I say this also with confidence in that I've seen how other estate agents work and I have always experienced the highest standards of service, transparency, often going above and beyond to make sure things move smoothly not just for me but for all parties AND through excellent collaboration with my legal team... And this is true from our lead agent, Chris, through to the sales progression team and lettings team. Hi Arthur, we do not have a record of your name on our system and cannot recall this. Please be kind enough to check which agent this was and remove this if this was not us. We are HORTS but there is an agent in Northampton called Haart. Could it be them?
