GoogleArranged appointment.Valuation person called me. Mr.J.. Made an appointment 30 June appointment time was lunch time. he called me traffic on M1. I will be with you about 3pm. I said that is ok.He did not arrived till 16.30 called him few times no answer. . He Text me 16.35pm. will have to arrange call you tomorrow. HE DID NOT.

GoogleI dealt with Sam Rashid, she was very fast and efficient, to attend to all my requests and queries. The service that she provided was excellent, and made the process a lot easier than expected. Every time I had phoned, the phone was answer, and the staff at SDL were always happy to help.

GoogleDo not trust this company, had a house up for £180k and said If we paid the 19k deposit non refundable then the sale can proceed. Found out from the owners of the house that they would accept £180k so not sure why it’s advertised at that? Clearly just wanted my 19k for themselves!
I'm afraid you have misunderstood the auction process. We absolutely do not keep the deposit money ourselves. As a buyer of an auction property you pay a 10% deposit upon exchange of contracts which contributes towards the purchase price and goes directly to the seller's solicitor. The property you were interested in had a guide price of £165,000 and a reserve price of £180,000. The reserve price was set by our seller as the minimum they would accept and was only disclosed after it didn't sell on auction day. This is common auction practice. The seller gave us additional time to secure a buyer. To purchase this property a buyer would need to pay £18,000 as the deposit (10% of the total purchase price) plus our fees - this is the £19,000 you refer to. I understand our team have been in regular contact with you regarding this property and the monies involved. I'm sorry you were unsuccessful with your purchase.

GoogleAs a property manager with many landlords wanting to sell their properties quickly and stress free i always find that SDL are the most resonsive, helpful and professional company to use. My assigned agent is Andy who is always on hand with great advice and is super professional when dealing with my clients. Even when dealing with complicated sales i can leave Andy to sort all that side out. Highly recommend.

GoogleDodgy company. Told us a lot was going into auction and no offer would be accepted prior. Then all of a sudden offer was accepted and viewings canceled. Why are your guide prices so low as well, do you not know how to value properties. Ridiculous pathetic company
We’re sorry you felt the need to leave us this feedback and saddened to hear about your experience with us. We are often advised by sellers that they will not accept pre-auction offers. We are obliged to advise our sellers of any offers received and in some cases the seller will change their mind and accept the offer. This is totally beyond our control and we naturally act upon the instructions of our client. In terms of guide prices, we price our properties for auction. It is not an open market valuation. This is to generate interest and competitive bidding in the auction. GoogleSDL's service and slipshod contract terms and conditions are extremely disappointing to me. I made a bit on a property that had to be completed by January more than a month ago. Only slight progress has been made since then. Only if I call and follow up on every document or step in the process will things move forward. Additionally, I was not notified of any rent issues with the current tenants. When I raised this concern I was told that they never check the situation and don't know about any such problems. Because SDL is not communicating or performing their minimum responsibilities, my solicitor is struggling to do his work.
