WITHOUT PREJUDICE. I will be honest. A 3 bedroom house which is (leasehold) with a sitting tenant sold on another auction for £195,000 in 2023. Now value of the property is worth £205,000. Which I call Justice. On the same row of houses another 3 bedroom house which is (freehold) with a sitting tenant (which should have sold on vacant possession) on a higher price sold on this auction for such a low price of £104,000 last year November 2025. Which I find injustice. It wasn't outside people responsible but my own blood brother and sister who caused this injustice to cause me the (beneficiary) financial loss in my share of estate. It wasn't outsiders but those people close to my family who knew my family who joined in to cause this injustice. When your own family members cause you harm and damage in the past and then come back years later to cause further damage in your family estate just shows what length they will go to cause that damage. The auction that sold the property didn't even once think is this justice to sell a popular property with a front drive way and a separate garage in a well located area at a price that is even lower than a 2 bedroom flat on the same road? Was getting wages for selling a property for this auction more important than the damage caused to the property sale and the loss caused to a beneficiary? Well the damage is now caused. Who is going to pay for the damages? As a law abiding citizen morals, principles, loyalty and integrity mean everything to me which some people will never understand. My request now is for a full investigation of my family estate and to take action on those responsible of causing the damage. My final honest answer to this auction is why would this auction have my name on their record I'm not the one responsible of selling the 3 bedroom house in a popular location on such a low price. I'm not responsible of this injustice I've witnessed now am I? If anyone should be devastated or disappointed it should be me who has had the most loss and damage caused to me financially not this auction or those who are responsible of selling the property on this auction. They question a crime investigator who investigates those who play around with the justice system, who commit wrongful actions and crimes and has witnessed many who have committed crimes walk away free. The injustice I have witnessed in life one thing I have learnt from the cases I have investigated to find out about peoples character watch their actions very carefully because actions speak louder than words.That's how I get my answer. Wow very surprised with this property auction Had been bidding on a property in a auction was the runner up on the property and the original bidder decided not to take the property which was then offered to me which I was happy to take. After a number of phone calls with Chris back and forth on a Thursday with a deposit to be taken on Friday no deposit taken to then get a phone call on a Monday for them to say the original buyer decided to change his mind. How is this the correct way to run business What a total waste of time and effort I would strongly recommend to avoid this auction. Chris you are an absolute joke! I do hope they mess you around again.

Recently needed to sell family home and looked at options for doing so, settling on selling by Auction. Not knowing a thing about the Auction process or how it works, i was a little apprehensive, I needent of been. Contacted SDL auctions and met Scott Light who put me at ease about the whole process, explained everything clearly, the stages and best options for my situation. Scott was confident and reasuring in his manner Before contacting SDL i contacted a number of local solicitors and settled on one to handle conveyancing side and legal pack. It was soon evident that the solicitors i selected had little idea of the auction process and its need for quick completion. Contacted Sarah Miles who suggested another firm of solicitors, who were excellent. As you would expect, there were hiccups along the way, but Sarah and her team, took care of everything. Communication was also superb, letting me know how the process was progressing, at all stages. SDL and the team were exemplary from start to finish, would i use them again, would i recommend them, absolutely yes.

I bought my property from SDL auctions in March 2023. Two years have passed and the sellers still have not provided a clause required to update the title deed with HM Land Registry. Upon contacting SDL multiple times, they have not taken any steps. Beware as the auction house is only interested in getting its money from a sale and not seeing through to the legal completion. The only reason i entered the auction market blindly was because of SDLs reputation - which they have clearly not lived up to. They haven’t responded to me at all after the sale and nits been two years since my funds are locked into the property - rehabilitating me professionally and personally. STAY AWAY!

When we finally found the house we wanted to live in, after over six months of searching, was being sold via auction we were very apprehensive. We had never bought a house via auction before and didn't know the process. We needn't have worried! SDL Auctions are a fantastic business and we were thoroughly impressed with every part of the process from viewing to auction day. We met Ian at the property for several viewings and he went above and beyond answering our questions and giving us advice for the day of the auction. Thank you so much Ian! The registration process for the auction was straight forward and each time we spoke to somebody over the phone they were pleasant, informative, and very helpful. We chose to bid via telephone and watched the auction via live stream. The auctioneer was very good and took his time on each lot so you do not need to worry about missing your chance to bid. Elliott was on the other end of the phone on the day, he rang us at the start of the auction to introduce himself which put us at ease. Elliott was great when our lot came up and was clear and confident on the phone. We were successful at auction and able to complete the purchase within two weeks. We want to say a massive thank you to everybody at SDL Auctions! We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Unfortunately the receivership didn't have the details but Katy was able to get back to me and let me know as such promptly. I'd have no problems recommending SDL they went above and beyond from selling my brothers bungalow in April to still helping in July. See the reviews: all sellers "were originally nervous but eventually happy" - seems like a template comment to me - all buyers mad at this agency. I'm with the latter, and I won't be a buyer with SDL. Contacted them 2 weeks ahead, kept in touch proactively, almost always speaking to a different person, proposed a date from the beginning, was told 2 days prior it'd have to be the next. Disappointed, I managed to move things around my schedule and asked for the date they proposed, only a little later due to transportation constraints, was told no way and offered other dates. They'll do nothing for buyers, and I can't be sure the happy sellers are real either. If you ask me, it all seems like a bit of a set-up. BTW, I don't know if it's all they do, but they buy and resell properties that are "difficult to sell" otherwise. Look into it. I did and I didn't like what I found. Utter waste of time.

Called to advise what was happening to be told it was sold. Wasted the whole morning. Really disappointed. I asked why they did not inform me. I met Andy Thompson at a house we had inherited in 2019 and we discussed all options with regard to the sale as I was reluctant to sell at what I perceived could be a lower price than on the open market. There was no pressure or tantrums (from him) when it was decided to renovate and not use SDL services. After 2 years, and personal circumstances preventing renovation, and the possible emotional turmoil of being a landlord was too much, Andy was instructed to put the house up for auction. Fees explained clearly and options discussed including reserve price. Alex kindly took photos and a 360 degree video, these being shown to me for approval before being included quickly on SDL and Rightmove website. There were lots of viewings and all accompanied by either Andy or Alex, and I had regular updates on the telephone. The day of the Auction was live streamed and I was able to view the actual bidding from my living room whilst drinking coffee and having the odd sweet.The Auctioneer was Rory and he teased as much as possible from thh bidders in a humorous and engaging manner. It sold on the day at a price that was acceptable with almost all the legal fees being paid by the purchaser! Many thanks to Andy, Alex and all at SDL who tool the stress out of the process. I'm a tenant at one of the properties they are selling at auction. I've been trying since December to get in contact with the owner, the landlord or some sort of management/agent Sdl have turned up taken pictures and said they would pass my messages on to the necessary people add 10 months later, the property hasn't sold and no one has been in contact. They treat you like rubbish and judge you over the phone, rather than try and help they deny personal responsibility over the phone. I don't understand why you would do a job you don't want or are not able to do, It's like being a paramedic but not knowing or willing to do CPR.
