Suzanne and Donna dealt with our sale very professionaly. I was regularly updated on the progress. They were in contact with our solicitor (who they recommended) and this seemed to make the updates easier. We bought the house from them some 9 years ago and used them for our sale. Would highly recommend them both.

I had a great experience using Richard Kendall for when it came to selling my property. Karen Marijewko was fantastic throughout. Karen kept me up to date at each step throughout the sales process and as it was my first property sale, I had lots of questions. As we were moving abroad, we first rented and then sold our house through Richard Kendall. Got very professional service from them, especially Lucy and Alison (in the sales team) and Amy (in the lettings team) who we were dealing with directly. Each viewing was followed up for feedback (which wasn't our experience with the previous estate agents who were marketing our house). All viewings were done accompanied by a member of Richard Kendall's team as per our request. It would have been nice if this was the same person each time as sometimes, the person was totally new to the house, hence not in the best position to highlight the strengths of the property.Overall, a well rounded experience.

My wife and I recently sold our property through Richard Kendall's.We had bought a house at auction so we needed a quick sale to the right buyer.Daniel came out and valued our house at a price we were both happy with and within the first week we had about 12 viewings and 5 offers.One of these offers was £11k above our asking price which we were obviously delighted with.The next hurdle was the 56 day time frame we had to complete the sale of our home and the purchase from the auction.My wife and I both feel that this would not have been achieved without the hard work of the Kendall's team but we would both like to thank Amanda and Joanne especially! Without the hard work these two stars put in we would not be in our new home now. They kept us constantly updated and were fantastic with chasing up our buyer, our buyers solicitors and everyone else they needed to to get this over the line. Hopefully we will not be selling again anytime soon but if anyone is looking for an estate agent I cannot recommend Kendall's highly enough - I have only given them 5 stars as it wont let me give them 6! Living in a listed building is lovely, but selling one isn't so easy. Our first agent clearly knew little about Listed buildings and overvalued the house greatly.When we swapped to Kendall's the valuation was more realistic and there was a constant dialogue about the best way forward. Our key worker was Mandy in the Ossett team. She remained diligent and optimistic throughout even when a Sale was lost last summer. Even though the house took a long time to sell we had total faith in her resilience, efficiency and understanding. We are glad of this because she did sell the house for us and remained totally committed to the process right up to the very last detail on the completion date

GoogleHouse next door is on market and people keep blocking our drive. Knocked on the door and the estate agent "Charlie" stated it's not his problem as not his car! You arranged the viewings so you can manage parking. It's simple courtesy to ask people not to block the road or drive when viewing or asking them to move their car! Useless

We completely understand your frustration and whilst we can’t control where visitors choose to park we would like to think that everyone attending a viewing to be considerate of neighbouring properties. From your photos, we believe we may know the road that this relates to and if so, our accompanied viewer Peter was there over the weekend, and we will speak with him to make sure extra care is taken in future. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know so we can address it.

The team was professional and kept us up to date with anything that needed doing. Yet, at times we felt pushed to do things otherwise it meant that we would lose the house. This was something we would hear each time someone would call us and not receive the answer they were expecting. When buying the house we were first time buyers and had not a lot of experience with all that needed doing. We felt that we didn’t get as much support from the team. We would of appreciated some more guidance on what was coming next instead of calling us and rushing us to make a decision. A file with all the things a first time buyer needs to have ready and a step by step guid would have helped a bit more. At times it felt as if the team had the seller’s back and only cared that he got what he was paying for and that we didn’t matter as long as we went through with the buy. There were times we called to speak to the person handling our case and they would never call us back. It just made us stressed and anxious the whole time until picking up the keys to our house.
